Azul Singular

Really beautiful place to spend a vacation. It is secluded in a beautiful plantation. Very nature oriented. Whereas is near everything, you do need a car. The owners are wonderful and very proud of the beautiful place they have created! Highly recommend it!

This is a great location for those who love the outdoors while appreciating a solid roof over your head whilst sleeping. The tents are really well proportioned, well equipped and very clean. Despite there being quite a few others not too far away, it still feels very private due to the density of the trees around. Loved our stay there, would definitely return!

I'm so glad we stayed here as it was such an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful with so much large plant life it feel like a jungle. There is a lot of privacy between all of the units. The beds and pillows were so comfy and the complementary breakfast where one can choose their items for the next day is so nicely done. Our room had a lot of space and an entire kitchen with all the utensils, knifes, bowls, cups, fridge, etc. Don't want yo say too much spoil your experience- if you are staying in Faial this is the place stay, hopefully your lucky enough and they have room.

Staying in Pedro and Antonia’s place was an amazing experience!
We stayed in an amazing tent, immersed in a kind of jungle forest. No noise, no lights, just the beautiful sound of nature.

Pedro and Antonia are amazing guests, the breakfast was everyday delicious and they are super friendly and kind.

Can’t recommend Azul Singular more! A unique, comfortable, fun experience <10 minutes from downtown Horta. Textbook glamping. Strongly recommend for couples visiting Faial.

🏕 Comfortable, well appointed cabins. Stocked kitchens and linens included.
2⃣ Cabins are perfect for couples. Not much privacy inside so if traveling with a friends be sure you’re very close (or you will be when you check out!).
🥐 The morning breakfast baskets delivered to your tent are fantastic! Customizeable after night 1. A+ perk!
😀 Pedro and his team are warm and welcoming.
🚲 Great amenities (bikes for rent) and common spaces (rooftop terrace, coffee bar).

I can recommend the accommodation unconditionally. The excellent service deserves special mention. One day before our departure, our dirty laundry was washed, dried and folded at short notice (for a total of only €10). In the stress of packing, we forgot a part of the laundry, which was sent to us without any complications.

Unique place! Bungalows or tents, well equipped and very cozy, located inside a jungle. What an experience!
Breakfast was delivered every morning to our hut. It was delicious and plenty.
Very tidy place.
The only downside is if you travel in a group of friends, there's not much privacy if you share one Hut. But perfect for couples.

We had a very nice stay in a very comfortable yurt. The glamping facility is definitely exceptional and was a highlight for us. We were welcomed very friendly.

Breakfast was delicious and was brought to the tent at 8am. The operators strive for sustainability and avoid plastic and waste wherever possible.

There is also a communal terrace and lounge.

We were looking for a Yurt experience and Azul Singular not only exceeded expectations but was a highlight of our Azores trip!

Our trip last year was cancelled unfortunately due to Covid. Pedro and Antonia are incredible hosts, not only welcoming us but also accomodated last years credit to be able to use it this year instead - that is true impecable customer service!

The facility was very comfortable with well equipped kitchen, high pressure hot shower and very comfortable beds with a perfect glass above the bed that made star gazing during the night magical. The daily fresh breakfast delivery was delicious too!

Highly recommend this magical place to experience the beauty of Faial island!

Lovely hotel, everything is really well thought through. A lot of attention to detail in every aspect.
Also, Pedro and his wife focus a lot on preserving nature, which can be seen in the breakfast tailored to your individual needs, minibar, heating concept…

I’ve never slept as well in a “hotel” as I have in this yurt. Staying here puts the cherry on the cake of your trip to the Azores! 10/10🥹

What a fantastic place!!! very well equipped, comfortable sleep, always hot water, very cozy! Pedro is mega super host, from communication to all details througout our stay. Delicious local breakfast and suggestions made our stay! Can't be grateful enough. Absolutely recommend it, do yourself a favour - don't miss this experience :)

The craftsmanship of these tents/yurts is beautiful, they are practical but elegant and very well equipped + comfortable.

The breakfast brought to your door in a picnic basket (all locally sourced) is delicious.

A truly “singular” experience that we thoroughly enjoyed

Azul Singular is a magical place, the scenery is breathtaking, the hosts are extremely kind and they met all our requests. We stayed in the Yurt and it was the best decision, it's peaceful, comfortable and beautifully furnished. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is heaven on earth. The little private cottages are a living picture, every time you turn around you get a different view into the "forest". It's so open and well thought out, but also very private, peaceful, clean, and most importantly so so comfortable. The beds are 5-star resort level. The shower's warm and water is plentiful. You even have your small private "fireplace" inside your cabin for cold nights. I cannot stress it enough... it's effing amazing.

We just had a beautiful experience. From the service to the outstanding location/tent.
First of all Pedro and his wife Antonia are just the nicest people. They have really created a little peaceful place to go and stay. They are always willing to help, from any info you might need for places to visit or even renting a car or taxi. They offer a breakfast with the tents which is with local products and lovely.
The tent is very tastefully decorated and has everything you might need. It is very quiet and you feel like you are alone, so a great romantic place.
Honestly we loved our stay, I recommend it without any hesitation and I hope I get the chance to come back.

We loved our stay at Azul Singular. Such a unique accommodation with the most comfortable bed!!
Pedro and Antonia are wonderful hosts. Every morning an incredible breakfast is personally delivered to your door - on our last day Pedro made homemade yogurt and delivered it early so we could catch our ferry. They offered great restaurant recommendations. We would stay there again (if we get the chance to go back to the Azores!!).

What a great place to stay... really wonderful and relaxing. The owner and the staff are super friendly, love to explain everything about the accomodation and things to see on the island. They really care about your experience. The breakfast basket is a great feature, a small treasure to try local food and enjoy a relaxing start of the day at your own little place.
