What a find! A set menu restaurant. Starter.wine. main.sweet and coffee 14 euro . Very busy after 7 we went 6. 30. A Few nights. Loved the food.

Great restaurant. It was full at lunchtime in March, mostly tradesmen and local residents. Set menu of three choices. Very welcoming, friendly service. Very good value for money.

To expand, everything is 1 price, regardless of what you get. The server is super friendly and kind. Food while basic is really flavorful and well seasoned. If you're in the area I would 100% say you should go! In our 2 week holiday we went 4 times

Great restaurant with simple but tasteful food. We ate a three course meal including wine, bread and coffee for €13 each. It is wise to make reservations to prevent disappointment. Service is helpful and quick as also the kitchen. We have been arriving at 19:00 and left after coffee at 20:15. Choice is limited but good. For starters there is bread and small toast with olives, butter and a spread. You can choose to take the soup of the day or not. As main course we had a choose between turkey, beef, pork, battered fish or a mixed kebab. And got dessert fresh fruit, rice pudding or jelly pudding. For wine it is standard a liter per 2 persons. I still don't get earlier review about frozen fries because the fries we had were excellent. Recommended restaurant.

The food is really delicious 😋 and the portions are pretty big. Waiters speak English and are very friendly. For a menu consisting of the main dish, one big alcoholic or soft drink and dessert you will pay just 13€ per person. We have been there couple of times during our visit to Portugal and liked it there.

We decided to go here after reading other reviews and were not disappointed! The set menu is simple but very tasty and the staff are lovely.
For couvert, soup, mixed meat kebab, chocolate mousse, coffee and 2 beers, it came to €30. Amazing value. Definitely recommend

This restaurant was highly recommended by our taxi driver on the way to our villa a few days ago. Only 3 mins walk away so decided to book as he said we should. Have to say it was fantastic!! Very friendly staff, the menu is set but several options all of which are in the waiters head which was highly amusing! Lovely starter with soup, then main course of steak and my wife had fish, followed by chocolate moose. It was delicious 😋 We also had a carafe of house wine and the bill only came to 30 euros..amazing value ! Cash only however well worth the effort. Will be going back before we head back home to UK !

This restaurant is well out the way but you can find it with Google maps. There was plenty of parking and plenty of space inside, although we were told it is so popular you have to book. They do a fixed price meal of €15 for that you get your bread & olives, a starter of soup, main course choice of 4 different dishes I had grilled Turkey steak with egg, chips, and salad. There was fresh fish on offer and pork or chicken stew. I tried some of everything and it was all really tasty. You also get a beer or a soada if you order lemonade you get a pint 😳 for desert there was ice cream or chocolate mousse or fresh fruit. Then you can have a glass of port or a liqueur of your choice and a coffee. So for that it would be very difficult to find anything negative to say. The owners have been there for 3 generations and all the people working there were fantastic. Happy to recommend 100%.

Very good idea to have a semi set menu with only a couple of options. The food was excellent, very tasty and the price was very reasonable. It's normally a soup with bread and dip, a choice of meat or fish each day and a choice of either an angel delight style desert or fruit salad. Early arrival is a must at approx 6.30pm for dinner to get a table.

Had to give this 5 stars for sending me back to when my grandmother used to cook for me. The soup made from the heart in fact the whole experience magic!! 15 euros evening meal 3 course inc wine well it just gets better ...........!

Yes! Good, tasty, simple food and lots of it. Wasn't keen on the fish (battered coupons rather than a fillet) but the pork and beef were excellent. The waiting staff were very busy but very nice during both visits - even cracking jokes. Great value.
