Awesome spot away from the summer crowds of downtown nazare. I grew up at a beach in the united states and this reminded me of home. The pizza was delicious. The service was outstanding and attentive. And I had the best view in the house. Saw the negative reviews, and I’m thinking: really?? As a person who lives in a foodie capitol, calm down dudes. This place is pure magic.

The restaurant is very cozy. The service is excellent. Extremely friendly and happy to respond to extra requests. My mother and I took the buratta and feta salad. Instead of the burrata, I had shrimp and smoked salmon. I also got the sauces extra. Everything was freshly prepared and organic. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. All in all a recommendable place.

I visit Nazaré every year to be with family, and out of all of the years I've come so far - this is now my new favorite restaurant on the Nazaré strip. From the food to the aesthetics to the amazing staff (owners and the chef!) this place has quickly stolen our hearts. It is MUCH more than a pizzeria.

With a diverse food menu that offers tremendous variety, on top of a full bar with cocktails, and a wine list that doesn't disappoint, from start to finish, you will be able to experience all that Nazaré has to offer in this one restaurant.

The staff are attentive and check in to make sure that you are enjoying everything and see how they can also offer to be of any assistance. We've quickly learned who the staff are, and have considered them already to become "part of the family." I even took my traditional Portuguese family (who have generally only eaten typical Portuguese food!) here, and they absolutely loved it.

If you're looking to have an amazing time with family, friends, or even alone - this is the place to be. The views of the beach are stellar, and you're able to see the sunset straight from your table. This house-turned-restaurant offers unique decoration and atmosphere to transport you into that relaxation mode you've been looking for. We've only been in Nazaré now for less than two weeks, and have already come here numerous times for dinner. :)

We have been to Mercado na Praia about 7 times over the past 3 years. Everyone we’ve taken with us or who has gone there because of our recommendation has absolutely loved the place. Every single time, the food has been very delicious and contrary to some of the negative reviews, it’s high quality and fresh! I just don’t get the negativity. The service has always been professional and attentive as well. Also, the prices are quite reasonable. I get it that people have different tastes and experiences, but I truly find this lovely place to be quite a gem!

We dined from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Why? Because it's a great restaurant. I found my new home in Nazaré. Muito obrigada Pedro e Joanna. Até prossima 😘🥂

Really nice place to get some food. Not your average pizzeria, but better and nicer. So instead of taking out, it's definitely worth staying there for lunch or dinner.
