We had an amazing experience. Felipa was so kind, helpful and attentive - super service! Food was delicious, plenty of options and everything we tasted was fabulous. The house wine was excellent as well, and price absolutely fair - 3,00 Euros for 1L of red house wine. A great experience, worth the drive. The views from there are gorgeous too!

If you’re near Nazaré and are looking for amazing home-cooked food at very reasonable prices, look no further. There’s a reason why there’s always a line outside, even during the week off-season. Their menu is quite simple but every item is carefully prepared, fresh and very tasty. And then there’s dessert. Their fridge full of mouthwatering home-made desserts is a perfect reminder that you have to leave room for dessert. This was definitely our favorite dining venue while we stayed in the area. Try it!

What an amazing meal love this place our best meal in Portugal I had the chefe special octopus was so sweet and the sauce was to die for my wife had the bacalhau which was so so good 😊 would recommend everyone to come here

Cod and potatoes cooked in cream and a bit of nutmeg is the best bacalhau com natas I have tasted in my 16 years living in portugal. Amazing.

As an American, I was surprised by how big the portions were, which says a lot. The food, price, views, and server were all great. This has to be my favorite Portuguese restaurant that I’ve gone to so far. The soup was delicious. I also recommend the grilled goldenbrasse (it’s bream). If you want to go all-out on food, go here. You’ll get your money’s worth and then some.

The food here is always excepcional, We found this quaint little restaraunt a few years ago with our friends and make it a point to visit once a year when we visit. There fish and seafood dishes are superb as well as their meat dishes. My boys had the famous " Manjar do Janeca" a well seasoned dish with pork, clams and shrimp served with fries and I had the shrimp bean stew I could not put it down. My husband had the octopus and my brother tried there hiuse bacalhau, he liked it so much I could not even get a picture .... lol.. The deserts are also delicious and a great variety made fresh daily. The prices for the quantity and quality of the food is very good. The staff is very nice and accomodating as is the owner. You will not be dissapointed

Simply the best. The owner in the kitchen. Food special. Local house wine. A must.

Friendly staff, delicious food and fair pricing. In my opinion a to address to taste some truly traditional Portuguese food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Be aware to book ahead as the place might very well be crowded on weekends (lunch as well as dinner!).
A definite recommendation if you’re not looking for some posh dinner but searching for hearty and down to earth food 🙃
