Great quality food. A very nice place with wonderful view. Came here for lunch and it was perfect! The place has a calming effect. It was so peaceful. Our server was very friendly and the service was fast. It’s worth the stop if you’re around Cinfães. Highly recommend!

You know a good place to eat when locals from all around gather to eat here. We spent 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon, started with the Chorizo, followed by steak cuts chosen by Miguel the owner with a tasty green local wine (34°), followed by home made choclate mousse desert and a fine port wine! We've been here recently and ate a Tomahawk steak. The owner introduces the restaurant and food personally, which we really loved. The chef is very lovely, too. We had a splendid time. But be prepared to pay a little bit more. It is very worth it, though.

The place is really charming and run by a very nice crew, the owner is a really nice person. We had the small starter, t bone steak , bachlau and house special dessert. Everything was superb. The cheese , honey and ham from the starter plate and the t bone require special mention , especially the steak , it is simply superb for the price. The house vini vershe and red were both good. If we are in the area we will be back. The place is small and filled up quickly after 8 pm so please call ahead and book a seat. The place has one vegetarian option, but in all honesty you will want to be a meat person to do this place justice.

I really loved this place in the Douro Valley, great view but the best thing was the service, staff and the owners were really love and attentive. As a vegetarian they didn’t have a lot of options but the vegan sausage was great and the wine, cheese board more than made up for it.

Recommemnded by our AirBNB. The steak options where really great! The menu is small, so the focus is on the quality. The amount of Wine options were brilliant too.

Opted for Aba Grehada and Nacos vitela arouquesa.

An authentic local restaurant with great meat based meals. The owner has real enthusiasm for the local cuisine and wines. Highly recommend.

Authentic service, delicious food and an amazing view!

Had a late lunch here with my girlfriend while riding a motorcycle up the Douro valley. Stumbled upon the place completely by accident. The owner, whose name unfortunately escapes me, was so welcoming, and so friendly. We had an amazing lunch, and went home talking about the bottle of beer we shared. I don’t know if it was the people, the view, the beer, the food, or just the fact that we were able to sit and rest, but this was one of my favorite stops on our trip through the valley.

He even gave us advice on what roads to take the bike on, and where to get the best photos of the River. Such an amazing experience.

We had a lovely lunch here on a Saturday. The T-bone steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the service was very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Cinfães!

We came early and met the owner outside, we had the chance to chat a little bit and it was such a warm and friendly welcome. It started to rain but we could have our first glass of vine outside under a small roof next to the door, a lovely place. The tavern it’s the same, really cozy and the food was excellent. Thank you to the wife of the owner, running the kitchen, it was very tasty!!!

Amazing place! The food is really tasteful and the owner is super nice. Would definitely recommend the Tomahawk with Vino Verde. Also, the view is beautiful. A really simple, although excellent, little family owned restaurant.

This is the greatest beef/steak I have ever had. Everything was absolutely incredible and mind blowing, deserves a Michelin star.
