Had a truly wonderful dinner experience here. We ordered the clams for starters. Was delicious and we couldnt stop eating. The waiter we had was wonderful and kept changing plates (with shells) periodically. For main, we ordered the crab. Here, most fish are priced by the kilo but you can choose your (approxiamte) portion size. For us, it was about 500 gms. The meat was not only fresh, the crab salad was simply delicious.
The location is in a very chic area and the staff were not just friendly but quick and efficient.

Probably the best Francesinha and pica-pau in Porto so far. Fantastic service.

Old vibe restaurant with food that feels like it’s cooked at home. Service was amazing. They were very attentive with my son and had baby chair.

Excellent meal. The portion of the dish is sufficient for 2 person as described and the seafood is fresh. The waiter who served us could speak little English but his service is absolutely superb and very patient. However, I found the meal is a little pricy and I hope there could be more squids rather than having too much prawns.

Wow! What a great experience! Delicious seafood dishes at down to earth prices and incredibly friendly service.

We ordered the seafood platter for 2 (believe me it was plenty for 3) and the rice and monkfish plate. We did not leave a single items on the plate.

The waiter was very entertaining and made his best effort to speak in English. Although the menu was in Portuguese, he translated the entire seafood menu in English. I didn't spot a tourist so I think it was a local restaurant.

It seems as though it's been there for quite a long time. Beware, this not a fancy upscale place. It's just a dive with great food and great service.

Will definitely go back. In spite of all the annoying lous construction in the neighborhood, it's well worth the visit.

Very nice restaurant built in an old way, and francesinha with the Pao de cruz offered an outstanding meal! Don't forget to ask for more sauce)

Great place for traditional portuguese food!

Believe me when I say that places like these will be rare in the future in Porto due to gentrification! Traditional and local dishes and profissional service we can still find here. In Porto we always knew that you don't go to Cufra if you want cheap, you go there if you want good. Therefore all these reviews (complaints) about prices/quality are non sense.

Iconic restaurant in Porto. Opened for many years its must go place after a soccer match, or for a quick dinner with friends before a night out. Solid food options, not exquisite, but consistently good, from sea food to great steaks and one of Porto's Iconic dishes "Francesinha" at a very high level. Recommend!
