Delicious local traditional cuisine, bringing the best from Douro! Their pork is super juicy and flavourful and they also make their own delicious house wine! The view in the restaurant is also breathtaking, panoramic view over the valley!

We stumbled upon this place quite by accident. We took a wrong turn and ended up at the nearby park and magnificent view of the Douro valley. We popped in here for a bite to eat. They were very busy but were able to accommodate us with a window table so we could continue to enjoy the views. Everything is cooked over a wood fire. The food was delicious. I had the grilled Salmon.

We dined in (3 people). Tasty food, great service and very good house wine. We didn't get the good view of the Douro River because we had fog. Nevertheless, we will come back for sure :)

Better know Portuguese!! We had an excellent dinner here. We went to see the sights and stopped in for some food. Since we stayed in the city, we thought maybe people knew English and we were incorrect! Our fault entirely. We know some Portuguese but not enough to know what we were ordering. Eventually through hand signs animal noises we worked out an incredible lunch of porcuitto, cheese, bread, their house wine and a INCREDIBLE crispy stone cooked lamb!! Do it!

I was here on a tour. We had an incredible view of the Douro valley vineyards. Food was awesome and so was the service and ambiance. It has that old world authentic vibe.
We had Bbq chicken, soup and dessert with wine.

We were recommended to visit this restaurant when we were in Porto, such is it's reputation. We weren't disappointed. Apart from the stunning views the food is great and inexpensive. There's a limited choice (cod, lamb, veal or chicken) and no menus! So we had no idea of the bill for a three course meal (with wine, water and bread) until it arrived; 36 Euros! You'll need Google maps to find it.

We came here as part of a tour. The food was fantastic, the service was awesome. I hated the red wine they served (Not my taste at all). My GF liked it and she doesn't drink reds often. It was a 3 course meal of Portuguese food, (soup, main, and a desert). We are from the US so it is all new to us and we loved it.

Delicious food, Veal was a little tough for my taste, but my wife and others with us said it was delicious. Bean stew was great, I'm not a fan of the tripe. We stopped with a tour and they provided plenty of wine for use to enjoy with out meal. Food is cooked with a wood fired oven.
