In the area this is the best fine dining experience. The balance of formal plates of fine food with a relaxed atmosphere is a nice break from the usual. The wine selection here is over the top, and prices are very reasonable. The scallop and fresh pea puree appetizer I had was phenomenal, and the cream brulee dessert was even better. Go for the food and stay for the wine

Best food we had on our trip to Portugal in a beautiful building close by the river but actually alongside the road, but this didn't detract in any way. Great selection of wines and ports by the glass to sample and the waiters were very helpful to recommend or try prior to committing. Food was exceptional and particularly great for fish lovers although plenty of other choices all round. We drove 30 mins to eat here based on a recommendation and it was thoroughly worth it.

The best meal we had in Regua, and there's some stiff competition! While the starter, main and wine pairings really are excellent, the dessert totally steals the show.

Let's just say it like this: We came back the next day for more.

Small but well decorated restaurant. You would want to reserve ahead of time. Overall the food was great. We tried the chocolate mousse with lime and chili for dessert and unfortunately didn’t love it, but they were very kind and didn’t even charge us for it in the end. A lot of the restaurants on this strip look the same, but if you have the option prioritize this one!

We had a delightful lunch here. The view of the river and the service were excellent. We had the beef carpaccio and scallops for appetizers. Both were excellent. Then we had asparagus risotto and veal medallions, both were also quite good. The atmosphere was calm and the service was excellent.

Our dinner was delicious and the desserts were amazing. Service was excellent. One of our best meals while in Portugal.

The menu is based on traditional Portuguese dishes with a twist. Really really good food at a reasonable price. The wine list is endless extensively covering the Douro region.

The waiters were not the friendliest, however the restaurant was fully booked.

We decided to grab lunch here on a long day of driving. It really delivered. We love octopus, but it cab be hit or miss when overcooked or under seasoned. This version was solid and tender. The was very good and the wine was great value. There are less expensive places, but this was well priced for the quality. There isn't a view of the river even though it is along the river because of the design of the building. But I didn't miss the view during our lunch and would definitely go back.

Terrific food, great atmosphere - went twice in the few days we spent in Douro

Located in a former train station warehouse, it has an impressive list of wines, lovely decoration and a terrace overlooking the train tracks – a bonus for our little one that is obsessed with trains now!

This "peach" is made with white chocolate, peace mousse and coulis. It tasted really nice and could have eaten another one but there was more desserts to try!

We really enjoyed the desserts and how accommodating they were setting a table on a quiet corner for us and our little one! We never felt out of place or that we were disturbing others like sometimes we end up feeling in some restaurants in the UK – like we are too much trouble just because we bring our child with us!

First diner in the Douro Valley and the best so far! Definitely on the pricey side, but the food was amazing and the place has a great vibe next to the old railway. I also got offered to taste the wine before ordering a glass (ended up choosing another one), which I found being a nice gesture. 100% recommend!

Great food, wine and atmosphere. I could totally trust the waiters choices cause it led me to an outrageously delicious experience!

Amazing place for a relax lunch , the food is from other world 🤤 enjoy the starters ,the mains and for the last a selection of cheeses, big selections of wines the staff are friendly, I cant wait to go back before my Holliday's finish I need try the rest of the menu ...

Come here for dinner. Absolutely delicious meal and exceptional service. Make a reservation. Strongly recommend the alentejo (I hope I am spelling this right) pork with truffle

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner of 6-7 small courses on a tasting menu. Each course had an interesting twist and beautiful presentation. Passion about the menu and the wine list was evident from everyone we dealt with. An exceptional local wine list ( 58 pages ) and a good list by the glass. Great space in old station goods depot and a very impressive wine shop on ground floor. World class food and great local passion.

Great food!
The duck with sweet potato purée was absolutely amazing.
Enormous and great selection of wines, maybe too much, specially if you don’t know enough about wine.
Space is beautiful, staff very attentive and knowledgeable.
