Spacious Riverside park on the beautiful Douro. Green and peaceful, except for the idiots with jet skis and speed boats. For that reason I'd avoid in peak season. There's a jetty for fishing and information boards detailing various walks. Plenty of parking with shade and it's well organised so as not to appear like a car park. There's a coffee shop, but I can't vouch for it.

Great river beach. The river is shallow enough for kids to play and doesn't get deep suddenly so even for people that don't know how to swim is great. Also has a swimming pool for people that don't want to go to the river

Excellent place to spend good time with the family. River, pool, beach, football, volleyball. Restaurant| snack bar. A nice place to relax.
