Camping "Quinta das Corujeiras"

We will never forget this beautiful place. A warm welcome thanks to Petra and Seth. Down to earth and friendly people. The camping is located between the vineyards and so was our tent. The sunset and sunrise were breathtaking and so was the view. The sanitary facilities were very clean and we (as a couple) had our own private bathroom and toilet. Very thoughtful! You see plants, trees and flowers everywhere, so beautiful.
We did a hike that was described in their folder which was also great to discover the area. Just simply amazing....

Great camping ground but it needs to be your taste. Camping here means you will be on your own plot amongst the vines and nature. Petra was very welcoming and showed us around the camp ground and offered us a refreshment upon arrival. The views are spectacular from your pitch and the whole place has a lovely community atmosphere. The toilets have good hot water showers. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The only downsides were the road into the campsite which is very much a dirt rocky track, but our little Mercedes b class handled it. The drive way down to the pitches is also not for the less than confident driver. It is very steep.

A beautiful spot in the Douro valley. You’ll park your camper beneath the grapes and will be enjoying a wonderful view.

We stayed here for two weeks with our tent literally under the grapevines. It was amazing to be here. The view is spectacular and the facilities are very clean. The hosts Petra and Setha are more than perfect in supplying you with ideas for activities and making sure you have the best stay possible. If you're lucky as we were Setha will prepare for you the best Indonesian food probably in Europe (we had the most amazing rendang with rice, beans/tofu in a coconutty sauce with a side of sour cucumbers, fried onions and kentankering).
There are not a lot of places at the camping so you have a lot of privacy, which makes for a very relaxing time. If you're more of the type that likes a very noisy camping you should look elsewhere.
It's a very natural camping; there is an amazing assortment of flowers growing around the camping, a lot of special butterflies, birds and the odd critter that crawls around.
One thing to note if you have a very big camper or if you feel that your driving proficiency is at a low level is that the road to the camping is on gravel (or quite narrow if you take the other route on asphalt) and the road to the main level at the camping is relatively steep. You get used to it very fast and the hosts are more than happy to help where they can with tips or things needed.

A fabulous, quirky and unique site. A hidden gem amongst the vines. A very warm welcome from owners Petra and Setha, who were so friendly. My partner and I had not pre-booked so we're very lucky to get onto the site. Nothing was too much for this accommodating couple, even down to our morning delivery of freshly baked rolls from the local baker. A wonderful experience. Thank you

Awesome place if you love privacy with the possibility of a little chat with the owners and likeminded people on the campsite. The small campsite is situated in the vineyards with amazing view. You can taste the local wine. We are a fan of the "green" wine. The owners were very helpful with finding hike routes. Sanitary was impeccable. Great experience!

Great place! Has an amazing view of Douro river and hills. The hosts are very welcoming.
It's quiet, perfect for who wants to get in touch with nature or just rest.

Fantastic place! We highly recommend the campsite and especially the stay in Yurt. Everything was perfect and Setha and Petra are the most delightful hosts I have ever met. My children enjoyed the great friendliness and spaciousness. Do yourself a favor and experience this fabulous resort!

Beautiful spot at the opening of the Douro valley. One of the most amazing camping sites I have ever visited. Great location and Petra and Setha are very friendly hosts that create a nice and intimate atmosphere. We really appreciated the well-equipped outdoor kitchen and the two very friendly dogs. Hope we’ll be back one day!

A small campsite with fabulous views. The pitches are between the vines. There are two campervan plots. Friendly hosts. Perfect.

Loved this place with our little 2 person tent. First time camping in between grape Vines! Had ur own bathroom. Well equipped for doing dishes. The owner was so kind. Bought a bottle of vino Verde from her own grapes. Delicious. If you want a very special place to go this is it! You can rent a yourte, a mini room. It's very private and far away from other campers. Just call before hand to check if there is room. Enjoy and I strongly recommend.

We had a wonderful couple of days at this campsite, set beautifully in private pitches on a vineyard. Seta and Petra were lovely hosts, they gave us lots of tips about where to go and good walks, they advised us on a restaurant close by which was the best food we have had on our trip so far! They produce green wine which we could sample and ended up coming away with a case it was so delicious, you can also order bread for the morning. The campsite was clean and had good facilities, we stayed in a campervan, there are only a few pitches so booking is advisable. In we found ourselves in this area again we would definitely come back.

Beautiful setting among vines, lovely hosts- Petra and Setha, can buy their vinho cooperatives vinho verde which is very good. The best views from a campsite, hard to beat. Deserved 5 star!

This place is amazing. The camping spots are spread over the vineyard with an amazing view. The hosts give great advice about activities and places you have to see. Fresh bread in the morning and cold beers and wine (from their own vineyard) in the fridge. You can take your own tent or rent one of the big tents available on the camping. It's a small camping, so you might be unlucky of you don't reserve.

A very beatiful place to stay with a tent. Ideal for backpackers/hikers, though a little bit distant from public transport. The campsite is very large, clean and idyllic with only about four camp places, so reservation is recommended.

This is the best European Campsite we have stayed in Its quirky and has a wonderful host Petra who looks after you as though you are old friends. You get your own shower and loo which are spotless. Find this place before it gets too well known.

Lovely campsite in a vineyard. There are quite few spots scattered throughout the area, so it's never crowded and your have enough space to yourselves. You're truly camping in a vineyard!
The owners are very nice and welcomed us warmly. We where shown around the campsite on arrival and they gave us a lot of hints around the nearest town and other campsites and things to do in Portugal. They sent us to a very cool little restaurants in town.
Sanitaries are fine enough. There's a common kitchen, a tiny pool to cool off and some deck chairs to lounge around. All in all, we felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

It's not very well suited for large motorhomes. Perfectly fine for cars and vans, but probably nothing larger.

Had originally planned to spend 2 nights but ended up staying for 7 nights camping . We found the owners so friendly and helpful, you are allocated a toilet and shower for your own personal use and there is a small plunge pool . The wine farm is located high up above the village of Maseo Frio which is a short drive down to it with a few restaurants and grocery stores , gas station . You are in the heart of the Douro valley which gives you options of boat rides , wines tasting, etc . Porto is around 80 kms from the camp , and there is a train that goes to Porto and back , when they are not on strike . Would stay again .

This little camping is just perfect. The hosts a very welcoming and they made this little vineyard in to a beautiful campsite. Its small (4 tent spots) so i would recommend to make a reservation.

Beautiful romantic little campsite on vine terraces. Beautiful area, clean bathrooms, nice communal cooking area. Good location for wine touring.
