Fantastic place to stay and just enjoy the view. The tent had plenty of charm and was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and the shower was the we have had in Madeira.

It’s located right next to the cable car cafe which closes at 7. The only shame was the sugar cane in front of the tent did restrict the view of the cliffs a lot.

We spend wonderful time in tent on the top of cliff. The view was amazing. Tents are very solid and comfortable. They have bathroom and kitchen. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

We had the privilege to stay here end of May. What a pleasant surprise, we were welcomed by the hosts who went down with us to our bungalow to show us around and help us with our luggage.
The accommodation is a perfect escape if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The cable car stop in the late afternoon, after which we were on our own. It felt like the island belonged to us. The sunset over the sea, reflecting on the cliffs was simply amazing.
The accommodation catered for all our needs. The lights in the unit work with a solar panel but there was more than enough power to keep us going through the night. The water heating system was quite unique but all 4 of us had plenty of hot water. Remember Achada da Cruz does not have electricity. Again we see it as a plus, to stay of the grit. There are a barbecue and gas hob for cooking. Enough plates, glasses, cutlery, towels etc. The rooms were comfortable with good mattresses and linen. The bottle of wine and flowers were a nice touch.
The bottom line, it is glamping in one of the most beautiful spots on the island. We can recommend it highly to anybody who is searching for their very own little bit of peace and quiet on the island for a few days.

La vue est époustouflante!

Les cabanes sont placées beaucoup plus haut que ce que l'on imagine, ce qui permet d'avoir une vue vraiment au loin sur l'océan à l'horizon.
C'est un des logements les plus marquants que nous avons eu l'occasion de faire tout voyage confondu. C'était un vrai plaisir de se réveiller, sortir et déjeuner face à l'océan, sans parler des couchers de soleil, vraiment somptueux.

L'extérieur autour des cabanes est très beau. Nous y avons été en Juillet et c'était très fleuri.

L'intérieur est correct et fonctionnel. Il y a de grosses couvertures chaudes pour les nuits un peu fraîches. Nous y sommes allés à 4, 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Pour 4 adultes ça ne passe pas dans une seule cabane. Le prix est très correct par rapport aux prestations.

Les cabanes sont dans un endroit un peu reculé de l'île, ce qui est très appréciable. On se sent seul avec la nature. Le seul inconvénient est qu'il faudra faire de la route pour y accéder. Par contre, la route est magnifique: belle route de montagne, bordée d'agapanthes, d'hortensias et de fuchsias (en été). Du coup on ne voit pas le temps passer dans la voiture!
De plus, vous êtes à 50m du téléphérique qui descend vers Achada da cruz.
