Bar Filhos D' Mar

A bar dedicated to football legend Ronaldo. The owner of the bar is a close friend of Cristiano and his family. If you are a fan - a must visit place. Even for us, not huge football fans, it was very comfortable and cozy here.

The most delicious drink.

Just off the harbour is this small bar. Friendly staff and excellent poncha and nikita. Trying the fisherman's. (Lemon.) Both excellent. Can buy litre jugs for €14 - €17.The lady even recognised Flat Eric.Two drinks €6.

We have enjoyed the Madeira poncha drinks at the Filhos Bar. Great service the waiter was very friendly.

Great place to have a drink of the proper poncha and nikita, the bar is filled with Ronaldo merchandise, there is rum to be purchased too. The server was polite and very skilled at making great poncha. Big shout out to our tour guide who brought us here during our day out. One of the highlights of the day.

It’s a bar. Don’t expect food. Our host (way too drunk to ask his name) is an exceptional host. Very popular with the locals, stumbled across during our travels. Great day. Just go. We will be back.

Delicious drinks and nibbles! We had the Poncha and passionfruit Nikita. So fresh and fruity. Plus, Paolo was so lovely to us. He told us about the local culture of the island and recommended some places to check out & food to try. The decor is cool as well ;)

The owner of this pub is very kind and he knows Cristiano Ronaldo and the president of Portugal in person. Both have been in this bar.

The drinks are great and you must speak with him about CR7 and football in general.

Great place! Poncha was so good that I had to come back from Funchal to Camara do Lobos second time to visit this place.

Honestly worth visiting. Passion fruit poncha wins but other options are also really good. It's nice to see that the owner is there every night.

Amazing! Traditional Poncha drinks in various flavours. We felt very welcomed and got like 8 free shots to try. A must if you visit this small town

Very delicious drinks especially the dark one... it is so soft and delicious. Receipe of it is a secret. Stongly recomend to visit.

A fantastic bar in a lovely location - the view of the old streets is really cool. The inside is cool too - especially due to numerous CR7 memorabilia! There's realky a lot to check out here. The drinks are rwally nice and there are some quite unique items! This place is a must!
