The real secret food to Madeira! Best dinner we had m! We tried skewers and black scabbard fish with banana. They were fantastic. Also, we asked for a takeaway steak sandwiches for the hike next day and they were the best sandwiches we’ve ever tried. Great service and absolutely fanatic views! Highly recommend!

Meat cooked to perfection amazing views and wine. Portions are a good size. We even bought steak sandwiches to go for our hike the next day. Best sandwich I've eaten. Highly recommend.

Delicious food with great service and an amazing view. Would highly recommend, the fillet and chicken and skewers were delicious. The salt cod was also lovley, we were warned that not all brits like it but I don't understand why, it was just a much more delicate a delicious fish and chips! We were also skeptical about the black scabbard with banana, but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering with the banana to try it, and if you're not a fan you can just take it off.

We were lucky to find this restaurant early on during our holiday so we ate here twice. Staff are lovely and the food delicious.
We were a group of 4 and we were all extremely happy with our choices, fillet steak kebab, chicken kebab, scabbard, and steak.
We organised a complementary lift to our accommodation as it was a little remote to walk to at night. The views are amazing.

One of the best, if not the best place to have espetada in Madeira.
Always fresh and prime quality meat, very tender and delicious, always cooked to perfection. The side dishes, home made french fries, milho frito, bolo do caco and the salad are always fresh and cooked perfectly by madeirean cuisine highest standards.
Prices are also very honest, and cheap if we consider all the other espetada restaurants in Câmara de Lobos and the staff is very nice.
Also the pregos especiais (beef sandwich) in bolo do caco with salad, cheese, ham and fried egg are superb and not expensive at all. If you are looking for a snack or a light meal, it's good enough for two.

So for the first time after more then one week I was really impressed. Not only about the service but also about the food - stunning place, love service and sticks full of fresh meet that you can actually choose from the fridge !!!
And if you would like to have few drinks call and ask for shuttle bus it's included.
The atmosphere is excellent- maybe because 70% of people are actually Madeira once.

Wonderful food, staff and views. Highly recommended but with the caution that there isn't much for vegetarians. Omelette and salads are nice though.

Very good! The picado is excellent and the octopus salad has an amazing seasoning. Definitely recommend it! Amazing view!

went there twice. Excellent food (some of the best meats I've tasted in years). If you are taking the beef skewers take the "bone-in" skewers - tastier thanks to the bone and fat.
Friendly staff and affordable prices.

An absolute highlight of our stay! Meat skewers (chicken and beef) were perfectly marinated and tender and came in really generous portions. Green wine never dissapoints and goes well with the meal. We even had a pudding which was served alight! The restaurant have spectacular views and lovely staff. And all of it comes at really reasonable price.

Had a fantastic experience here. The food was excellent and the restaurant has amazing views. Price seemed great for the amount of food.
