Hi all,
I highly recommend them!! For me it was by the best renting experience ever: no deposit required; staff was friendly and helpful ; they replayed fast on WhatsApp ; the price was fair.

I initially had the car (Fiat 500) booked for 5 days but soon after taking it I decided to extend for two more days. There was no problem. I got the "OK" from Abel (Thanks 😊) on WhatsApp almost instant. They also delivered and picked up the car at the Airbnb.
Again. I highly recommend them. Probably the best for car rental in Funchal!

PS: What I would suggest to anyone who wants to drive in Madeira : get a more powerful car! It's really nice to drive in Madeira but the roads are twisty with a lot of ups and downs 😉!

Rented a car here, the communication was perfect, car was clean and although we didn't get a car we ordered, it was a better car. Although the car was not perfect for Madeira roads, it was enough to get around the island and go to hiking spots. Also, a huge plus that there is no deposit and credit card required.

The owner - Abel is a very kind person. Everything OK. On our trips It happened that I slightly scratched a back of the car. Abel was OK with that, no issues. He stayed in a possitive mood. If we get here again, we will definetelly rent a car with this company again.

We had great experience with Madlobos in Madeira. Friendly and flexible service, offered to drive us to our hotel as we were ahead of booked schedule and the car wasn't ready yet for our use. Car itself was in good condition.

Very good and flexible service, no hidden costs. Unlimited mileage, no credit card or deposit needed, full insurance coverage - easy and comfortable. Reasonable prices! We rented a Citroen C1 in Madeira for 6 days, drove nearly 500 km all across the island. It is not too strong compared to the uphills, but enough. Would use their service again.

I really recommend this car rental! Great contact, easy booking, flexible customer service policy. On time delivery, car was clean and good condition.

If you travel to Portugal, rent your car from Madlobos! We had such an easy and pleasant experience renting with them in both Madeira and Porto. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, the process was simple and transparent, the rental was affordable and we were allowed two drivers with full insurance. They even met us at two different airports in both Madeira and Portugal for pick up or return. There were no shenanigans and no extra charges on our credit card when we returned back to the United States. Can’t recommend them enough!

I have rented cars in many countries and this was the most pleasant and easy experience I have ever had. A quick no fuss process and no attempt to sell add on insurance - all included! These guys are taking it easy. They are very friendly and warm, eager to give you some travel tips. Renting a car vas very easy, i just made an order in the evening and the next day in the morning, they delivered a car to my desired location on the other side of the island for a small reasonable fee. They dont ask for a credit card or deposit and there is no problem with droping the car at the airport after your trip. Very trustworthy company. Very good experience: we had the good looking C1 for a week which is good enough to drive across the island (we had a paper map). Basic price includes full insurance, additional driver and unlimited mileage. Would rent from them again!

Best Rent a Car Funchal.
Easy way to get a car in Funchal. No Credit Card, Full Insurance, Good and nice Service, very friendly People. I will definitely come back again. We had a great time in the holiday and with the car.

Great service and reasonable prices. No deposit is needed. It was a friendly and chilled experience of renting a car in Madeira, lovely and super friendly staff.

They may be more expensive "base rental" than some of the big names but the full CDW is included in the price (and trust me, you WANT it in Madeira). The lady in the office was extremely efficient and from walking in to driving off was about 10 minutes. Also the child seats are free.

It was about as Hassle-free as you can get and would use them again.

Excellent service and car.It delivers exactly what it says.I had a minor accident (hit the wall trying to park in tight space at hotel,my fault.)They said,"not a problem,these things happen" It was covered under the comprehensive insurance policy.I have hired cars all over the world,this is the best.Joe

Very good services with helpful ideas about the nice spot to see on the island. They let you feel home here. BTW the car was also very good.
