Dinner was great, a little too much for one person. Great cook! Nice and welcoming service. Food was fresh, simple, but very good. The atmosphere was a little simple, but that didn't disturb the enjoyable dinner.
Highly recommend! We had dinner for two, for nearly 30 euros, so plenty opportunity for a tip.

We had the 2 specials (pork, clams, and fries; bakkaljaw, bacon, potatos), a beer and soda, and 2 espressos and cake. Portions were large and the bill was just €26.

Loved the place. A homey budget diner. Would def come again.

Probably the best spot with affordable prices in Aljezur during high season. I was lucky to get a table for lunch because it's very small. I had pork ribs (type of meat I'm always skeptical) with beans, rice and sweet potato (something very typical from here). They gave me a side salad. It's not a fancy place and it's advertised has Pizzaria (you can get that as well here). But everything was good and well enough portion. The owner/waiter was very polite and good at his job. Good, familiar and honest place. If I'm back in Aljezur this is my spot.

Special offer of the day, fish, was delicious! All other dishes simple but good. All plates were more than we could barely eat. Overall, excellent for small money.

Wonderful, large portions, very nice host! Loved our Mackerel and stew and salads! This is the result of my meal, with Vinny!

if you want Portuguese home cooking, have a look here. don't be fooled by the empty restaurant (like us on the first day), the locals just come later. you will be welcomed by a nice gentleman and you will be able to freely order everything in English. the evening here reminded me of the joy of eating in nice local places where the most importent thing is to eat well.

Great pizza, price low for the quality. Pizzas are thick and richly topped so you may want to order one size smaller than normal. Very friendly owners

Amazing food, incredibly reasonable, wonderful host - could not ask for more. We had the pork ribs (which were the house special for the night, so it won’t necessarily be on the menu if you go!) and it was so so good. We will 100% be making a trip back there before we leave Portugal. The host was also incredibly attentive, super friendly. To top it all off - we were blown away when we received the bill!! EAT HERE AND TIP WELL!

Excellent prato do dia. My husband and I had the two plate-of-the-day dishes. Chicken kebabs, rice, sweet potato and fries; and a fish/clam pasta stew. Both were soooo good. Complete meal came with fresh salad to start.

Restaurant Vicentina has by far the best menus in Aljezur. Real authentic and super tasty portugies food. A must if you visit Aljezur!

If you really want to feel like a local and taste some unpretentious, yet exquisite traditional food, you should definitely come to this family-run restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and had an excellent dinner: big portions of pork with sweet potatoes and filete of fish with tomato rice. Highly recommended!

We ate here with our two and a half year old last month. It was the most relaxed eating experience of our trip. The owner was kind and polite and brought us a high chair. The food was very reasonably priced and good portion sizes, the pizza was excellent.... We took the left overs home and had it the next day. Freshly dried oregano is amazing. My daughter (and I) couldn't get enough of it :)

How was tge pizza? No idea, mate. How was the Prato do dia? JUST STICK IT IN MY MOUTH! Some of rye best grub in Portugal that we've had. The roast pork (Schweinebraten style) was melt in the mouth. And both fishy dishies we had were super tasty 😋. The veg was so delicious too. Will dream about this place. Cheap cheap too.

For my experience, what I loved the most was the quality of the food.

The pork roast was a dream, juicy, soft, flavoursome, in a meaty and zesty sauce, with a lovely rice with vegetables, potatoes (soft and waxy inside, perfectly charred outside) and the most interesting sweet potatoe of our lives so far (they're locally grown Aljezurians). Delicous fried fish filets in a delicately spiced panade. This place calls itself a pizzeria, but we were heavenly surprised with the portuguese dishes! I have to stop myself raving about the salad that came with it.... because it was so lovely!
