NH Collection Porto Batalha

We stayed in room 408 for two nights.

Pros:
- Good location.
- Not far from the river.
- Close to a metro station.
- Close to high-quality restaurants.
- Close to the main shopping street.
- Good size room.
- The staff and service were very good.

Had dinner here which was excellent. Very tasty, generous proportions and great value. Service was brilliant, particularly from Sofia, who was friendly, helpful and generally outstanding.

Awesome location, awesome hotel, and the staff were excellent and professional! I will be staying at this hotel when I return to Porto again soon! Rooms looked exactly like the photo, and they were super clean! Only complaint I have is that the food from the room service included some raw chicken, but they fixed the problem, of course. The location is stellar and is the PERFECT location for if you ever visited Porto. Hotel is also extremely safe. I felt very safe here as a solo woman.

The employees were wonderful from the moment we got to their door. Location is great! Our room was spacious and well equipped with supplies. I would recommend and return there again.

Great hotel in a great location. Beautiful building with sophisticated lobby. Great service from the start. Water, cookies and pasteis de nata at the desk. We had dinner in their restaurant one night and it was superb as were the drinks at the bar by master mixologist Romain. We also had breakfast one day and it also was excellent with variety of options. The room was immaculate clean and very comfortable. We had a view to the square. Bathroom with porcelain tiles and rain shower. The gym was adequate, I used the treadmill. Highly recommended.

I was amazed by the service I received. The hotel is located close to restaurants, shops and many points of interest. I highly recommend to go the SPA and get a treatment with Ana Marta. I go to the SPA regularly and Ana Marta gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

I had an excellent last night in Porto at the Hotel NH Collection Porto Batalha. Fantastic service from check-in to check-out. Very personal attention and the Lazy Sunday check-out is invaluable. The room (I stayed in 504) was clean and very comfortable, big enough for a few days stay. The location of the hotel is excellent on the Praça da Batalha next to the cinema and opposite the Teatro Nacional São João. The room gets some sun during the late afternoon, which is always nice.
I did not use any of the facilities (spa, pool, F&B) and the only con I can think of are the bi-lingual recordings in the elevator (going up/down, doors open/close).
Next time in Porto I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it for other (solo) travellers!

The gym could be better. A larger room with windows and a little more quality equipment would be helpful.

Perfect place for a quick getaway to Porto. Very close to the cathedral and other landmark historical sites. The rooms are very comfortable and tidy, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Great location, extremely helpful and kind staff. The bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in throughout our entire Iberian trip. Breakfast was very good and highly recommended.

Great stay, close to the city centre. I’ve never encountered a bad NH hotel and happy to report this one lives up to the standard. Happy to stay again.

The location was perfect people in the staff were so nice I've highly recommended this and the people at the cafe the breakfast cafe it's Wi-Fi you're so nice I'm very helpful everybody at that hotel was perfect I definitely recommend it We're definitely go back again

Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpful and professional staff, great location to explore the main city spots, comfortable and spacious rooms, spa to chill after busy tourist days and a bar and restaurants to enjoy breakfasts and meals if you wish to stay in. A place to go back if I return to Porto

Beautiful hotel.

As a family of 3 we had a room with a separate living room, double sofa bed, the design was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was great with a huge bath and separate shower area with rain shower.

It’s close to the top of the funicular which makes getting to and from the water front very easy.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast has an excellent selection.
The indoor pool is very nice with jets.
The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated and is spotless.

Outside can be a little noisy at night but that’s part of staying in a city, I’m sure they have quieter rooms however our room faced on to the square.

Overall one of the nicest hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying at.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. They have private parking which is very convenient since most tourist attractions are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Be in the heart of it all. This lovely European hotel makes you feel you are rich and still in the city for culture. Close to food, culture and most of Porto. The only complaint is it is always a uphill walk to get home from where ever you going in town.

Very nice building and a great location. Bruno was an incredible guy to deal with. He was super busy but never skipped a beat. His colleague behind the bar didn't put his best face forward and was quite short with customers. Great location...

Very nice place. I loved the welcome of the ladies Filipa, Sofia, Patricia, Sara, Catia, Daniela, Ines. Food nice in the morning. The cleaning lady are nice and very precise.
