Hotel Boa-Vista

Great little place to stay, in easy reach of Porto, and without the tourist bustle.

This place was stunning. I loved the view & I loved the atmosphere. The pool is open until 00:00, the pool is not heated but it did not stop me from swimming in it (it was 9 degrees celsius). The bartended was so nice & made the best mojito I have ever had in my life. So fresh! Breakfast selections were amazing & so yuummyy!

Definitely will be back next year!

Great place to stay. Okay, the hotel has no restaurant. The place is a bit noisy (cobbble stones, directly in the flight path from/to Porto airport, renovation project next door). But tcities are noisy and the hotel has helpful staff, great rooftop bar, super swimming pool, and really comfy beds). We wanted a holiday flat, none available, so this was a super alternative

This is a very hospitable hotel. I give this hotel a 5 star. The service, the room, the breakfast and the people made this an amazing stay. The location is superb! The view is truly breathtaking. You are across from the beach. If you are into pilates, there is a studio 25ft within walking distance from the hotel. Also, if you are a runner, this is your place of stay. The gym is on point. The shower is exquisite and did I tell you the staff is so very nice. I have no other words to describe this place. Price point- very affordable for ALL your expectations.
Oh it was my husband’s birthday yesterday and they came in and left a gift. So thoughtful and kind.
Lastly, i got my ride to the Airport settled with them - no hassles.

Very nice hotel. Fantastic views and very close to the beach. Bus stops right outside for easy transport into Porto city centre.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only negative was that they only offer breakfast. That said there's plenty of good restaurants in easy walking distance.

I recommend coming to the roof terrace for a drink. The views are stunning and it gives a different perspective to Foz. Great views of the fort, and to the lighthouse and sea. Extremely relaxing.

Breakfast is fantastic and a lot so if you are hungry you won't be disappointed.

A group of us stayed here for primavera and we can't fault the hotel or staff. Breakfast is very good for the price, our rooms were cleaned well and the pool and roof were great.

Great hotel, ideally situated for the beach and the city. 2 euros on the bus gets you into Porto. This hotel offers the opportunity of so peace and the beach. Staff really friendly and helpful, breakfast is good. Room, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended. View from the roof top. Restaurant was shut during our stay, reception staff recommend some excellent local restaurants. Fab stay, good value for money

A lovely old school hotel
The rooms and linen are a tiny bit tired which is why one star was removed, but immaculately clean, lovely bathroom, breathtaking views from the roof terrace good breakfast and fantastic service.

For us it was a perfect Hotel. The service at the reception is excellent, they do everything for you. The rooftop bar is woderful.

With all the issues around Covid we were pleasantly surprised to be treated to a display of how it should be done. This hotel has made a huge effort to be ultra clean and keep guests safe. Social distancing and cleanliness was high on the agenda. The breakfast was organised in a very safe manor with everything individually wrapped and guests were served with whatever they asked for by friendly and helpful staff - I assume they were smiling but you couldnt see this as they were all masked up.
The gym was closed due to covid spreading issues as were all of the other gyms in Porto.
Excellent position with fantastic views of the Douro delta and a local modern bus route that stopped right outside so getting around Porto was a piece of cake - even in a wheelchair.
Altogether a really well run hotel and the room cleaning was faultless - well done Boa Vista!

Lovely place to spend your days in Porto convenient to the beaches, citx centre and also Matosinhos. Friendly staff, clean. Lovely roof top bar.

Excellent hotel, good location, love the bar at the top with fabulous views of the Atlantic and Douro river. Breakfast excellent buffet style it has something for everyone. Hotel staff very helpful we were there 5 nights and we sampled excellent cuisine very close to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Located just near the ocean, close from tram to the city center/old town. Not the newest hotel, but still fresh enough. My recommendation

Beautiful hotel located near the beach. It has a roof top bar with beautiful views and friendly staff.

Booked in as a last minute reservation online. Staff very helpful and friendly, a few having pretty good English speaking skills. I am a wheelchair user and have found this hotel to be one of the most disability friendly places I have stayed in. The specially equipped room was designed with disabled access and ability in mind, little touches allowing for easy access and to allow for autonomy. Details such as a swinging bathroom door, special folding and revolving wardrobe and care taken with the height of furnishings etc to be within reach. Personally the bed was a little firm for me, but all considered it was a very minor down point. The lifts are a bit tight for a wheelchair, but they have multiple lifts to both sides of the building for ease. A beautiful rooftop swimming pool and patio bar overlooking the ocean and historic castelo with a superb sunset to boot. Delicious bar food, great coffee, a simple but free continental breakfast makes the Boa Vista well worth a visit if you are touring Oporto. Easy walking distance to shops, the beach is less than 2 minutes away, trams on the doorstep and delicious food very close by if you fancy a dinner out. Obrigado Boa Vista Hotel!

Amazing value for money. Close to the beach, rooftop pool and bar and a nice variety for breakfast. More like a 4* rather than 3. Only improvement would be to provide an iron.
