Restaurante "O MOREÃO"

We enjoyed O Moreão twice - once for lunch and once for dinner - because we were so impressed by the quality and the value of the food here. The owner catches the fish, so whatever is on the menu is about as fresh as you can get! We tried both the grilled and the fried fish. Both were very good, but the grilled fish was the star. Service is incredibly friendly and they spoke English, too. 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, with dessert and wine and coffee was about 40€.

Generous (large) portions of fresh seafood, and meat dishes offered at a great price. We visited this restaurant two nights in a row. Great fun atmosphere at this casual, family operated restaurant. Highly recommend this place. Owners are hilarious!

We loved everything about this restaurant. From the perfectly prepared fresh seafood to the kind owner who remembered our order when we returned a few days later, it was just great. And if you're lucky, Beta will serenade everyone. The restaurant is nothing fancy, just fabulous food in a warm environment.

Amazing and super fresh fish and seafood at cheap prices. It's a very easygoing restaurant, the food is very good and the owners are so friendly, polite and nice. We had dinner there 5 days and never got disappointed.

The best fresh grilled fish that we have got during our 2 week trip to Azores. Nice and vivid atmosphere during lunch time too - thanks to the owner who also gave us a treat with a song, she has got a magnificent voice!

Absolutely fantastic service! The grilled fish (Líris) was excellent as was the fresh cheese appetizers. They also had AC. Highly recommend it.

This place is AMAZING. Husband and wife team with the freshest fish prepared excellently. I have not had another meal on Flores that is it’s equal! The wife, purveyor of our fine experience even sang us a song for the whole restaurant - she has an exquisite voice and brought tears to my eyes. Such an amazing spot and amazing people. Thank you for this wonderful meal and experience.

Very tasty fish directly from the ocean. Friendly and family atmosphere and reasonable price. Very popular place for locals, try to reserve in advance, we were just lucky to get a table without reservation.

Very fresh and tasty food. No vegetarian option on the menu but you can ask for a cheese omelette that's tasty as well (don't go for the fries, go for the boiled potatoes in the peel. Delicious). High point was the staff though. Though it was very busy, they were amazingly friendly. Even offered us an extra for our patience.

We got there right before they closed to prepare for the dinner reservations and the owner still accommodated us for a quick meal and one of my now favorite fish to eat, the cherne/Atlantic wreck fish. You could easily walk right past this place, but im glad we didn't
