Santana in Nature Bed & Breakfast

We arrived late in the evening so the receptionist left the door open and sent us a message about the details, so it was super efficient. We were staying in the BnB part, which has its own parking places, so that was not an issue either. The room is small but enough for two people. The only less pretty part was the floor, but other than that it was clean, well equipped, comfortable accomodation. WiFi was great without any issues, and breakfast is also available however we did not take it. On the 3rd floor there are 2 mobile jacuzzis, one of them was functioning at the time we were there. It is completely self service, you go there turn the bubbles on and enjoy the sunset from the hot tub. Great experience especially for this price.
The proximity of the ocean can cause issues as your clothes can easily get wet in the room due to the high humidity, so an AC or dehumidifier would be helpful. Nevertheless great accommodation I would definitely stay here again.

The place was perfect, had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves, fun game room we could stay in as long as we liked, only con hard to get anywhere without a car. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

And people are very kind and friendly. The man who took care of us for dinner is really top, with great advice, a true PRO !

The Octopus (Polvo Lagareiro) was delicious and the dancing Service guy was really funny.

Very nice place to stay ! I was traveling on my own and I booked a room from Saturday the 17th until Wednesday the 21st. The staff was really nice. I ate at the restaurant each evening and enjoyed it. The fish menus are delicious and not too expensive (from 13,50€ to 19,50€). With lot of vegetables 😋. The breakfast was a buffet and I had everything I needed! (Coffee, different type of breads, yogurt, cereals, soya milk, fruits, cheese, ham…). The area is beautiful and is central to visit a LOT of places. Also, the accommodation is cheaper in this area than in Funchal area. The room (sleep&go) are not very fancy but I didn’t mind as it was only to sleep. I’ve spent the days out. The bed was confortable, the bathroom also with shower gel and shampoo provided. Wifi was 👍. I left the upper windows open the whole days so wasn’t annoyed by musty smells. Many thanks to the staff for your kindness! I hope to come back with hubby next time 😜.

What an amazing place, staff are amazing, very welcoming and friendly. Food is really good, rooms are clean and the most beautiful views in Madeira. They do amazing bbq chicken and steak served on a skewer with salad and chips. Awesome value for money! Would definitely come back.

The only thing we can say just thank you for Celestino and for his team.We spent there an unforgettable week.Everybody is really friendly,kind and helpful.After a few days we felt that we know each other a long time ago.

The rooms are nice and clean, with everything you need available. There is a small pool and jacuzzi on the top of the back building, with a wonderful view. The restaurant has good service and you can enjoy a lovely sunset view while having a drink or dinner over there. The place is a bit isolated so you need to get a bus or taxi to the town (Santana).

We loved our room with a balcony and ocean view! The sunrise is stunning from the balcony and I could take pictures while still in my pjs 😂 The house-made mint poncha was absolutely amazing!!! The food is delicious. The managers and staff are just wonderful! The level of customer service was the best we felt on the island. We were so happy with our wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

While the rooms smell like moist, staff was friendly, view was great, and the heated pool & jacuzzi were awesome after long days of hiking.

Nice hotel with unbeatable sea view (sunrise view as a bonus). Friendly staff, good restaurant with reasonable prices, and even the breakfast was very nice.
The rooms inside are a bit basic, but it's still a great place for a short stay.
Hope there will be more tourists soon.

We had the room with the sea view which had the best view. Sunrise for the early birds with a tea was great. The pool abd jacuzzi with stunning views. Restaurant and breakfast was really nice and well prepared. Staff was also very friendly.

Magnificent place, what a surprise. The views are breathtaking, one side to the ocean and the other side to the mountains. Located in the Laurisilva forest it’s a really peaceful place. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Sometimes less is more, and this really shows its simple but really beautiful with everything that you really need. The food in the restaurant it’s tasty and cozy. I do recommend this gem

My partner and I were simply amazed by Santana in Nature Bed & Breakfast, or as it should be named: Heaven in Santana.

I'm struggling to put into words how uniquely positioned, and genuinely outstanding this place truly is.

After a long day hiking we decided to pop over the road to the restaurant, where the catch of the day was recommended to us by the lovely lady that runs the restaurant (her name unfortunately escapes me). The Dourada was simply put, the best fish I have ever tasted in my life. Paired with potatoes and vegetables, cooked honestly and to perfection. Knock that back with a few rounds of homemade poncha and I was ready to quit my job in London, move to Santana, and spend the rest of my days enjoying sunset views on the terrace.

As we were leaving, we were lucky enough to converse with Celestino who generously shared some local secrets on where to go and what to do next. You can really tell how much he, and his staff care about their little slice of paradise.

Thank you to all of the staff who work so hard to make this place so special, we will never forget our time here.

The view is amazing to the ocean, even Porto Santo can be visible from the balcony. The rooms and the breakfast are okay, nothing special about them. This is a perfect stay if you want to go up to the Pico Ruivo, as the parking beneath the peak is only 25 minutes away by car.

We had lunch in the restaurant opposite the hotel, it was a very friendly and welcoming staff, a beautiful place and very suitable for taking a break, the smell of nature and the view is magic

Lovely hotel with great views from rooms and the rooftop. Great location to stay if you plan to hike to Pico Ruvio.
