Clean and cozy. It's a little old building, but it doesn't matter. It's near the center (20min walk) of Porto.
You have a nice garden in the back to stretch the legs.
Well equipped kitchen and dining room where you can share time with others.
Nearby many coffee shops where you can eat a nice breakfast before you'll hit the road.

Friendly people at the reception.

We stayed there as a family, and we loved it.

I had a welcoming time here. It is a bit far from the centre but still manageable. The is also a self service laundromat nearby. The Albergue takes reservations, do so early.

Very organized and clean. Directly on the camino. Try the restaurant on the other side of the street - its very good

Very clean and well organized. The front door is electronic and you open with a code whenever you want to enter the building. The backpacks stay in lockers on the first floor. You get a basket to bring your things. There is a shelf next to each bed and a power outlet. Big kitchen, garden and dining area with some board games. Small grocery store is really close, bigger one is still walkable distance (less than 10 minutes). The only downside is that the shower heads did not attach to the wall (it was broken while we were there).

Top Location with top service and top quality in any way. Clean and safe 👍
It's a bit outside of the centre, you have to walk nearly 30 min.
The rooms are divided. There is all you need like a kitchen, outdoor and indoor chilling zone and so on...

Great location, 3min walk from metro station.
I choose here for my first night stay as
I was going to start my cimino from Porto.

I was happy I made a good choice, the albergue is located at nice and quiet area.

Lovely staff and volunteer, comfy salon and dining area.

There is kitchen you can cook.

Highly recommended!

Original, comfortable and welcoming. My children had great fun watching the turtle and petting the cat. There was a beautiful garden with a bar and hammocks to relax in. I would 100% recommend staying here.

This is one of the most beautiful albergues. It has a nice garden in the backyard with herbs and fruit trees. Hammocks are hanging between the trees. There are animals, a pilgrim-friendly cat and a always hungry turtle. There's space enough for a campfire and grill. Walls are painted with icons from the city of Porto as well as from the pilgrimage. Books and guitars invite to enjoy your time here. I loved this place ❤

Absolutely amazing staff, each and every one of them made us feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere in here was so relaxed too. To add to that, the hostel has an amazing garden/outdoor area with a bar and a hammock like an Eden in the middle of Porto. Would recommend to anyone starting or ending their Camino especially to stay an extra night and hang out with the people. They also have a pet turtle and cat that are both adorable!

One of the best albergue on Camino Norte and Camino Portuges Cost. This is private albergue in Porto. Volunteers always trying to do the best for pilgrims. Here you can stay more then one night. But this is albergue, not a hostel, and you need to leave albergue between 10am and 2:30pm even if you stay more than one night, becouse it is time of cleaning in albergue . Nice cat.

The staff are amazing- so responsive to emails and questions. They go above and beyond considering how large this albergue is. They even facilitated a party evening - putting music and a fire on in the huge garden. Thank you for looking after me :)

The check in time at 1530. Not close to old town and cathedral. But the albergue is so nice to stay.

Fantastic. Portuguese hospitality at its best. Good location, maximum cleanliness, friendliness, great modern and clean facilities and a sunny, private and large terrace garden. Anche shame on the Portuguese government and the city of Porto that charges 2 euro of tax per pilgrim.

Very nice albergue close to metro /train stop Carolina Michaelis. Easy access by walk to the centre. I stayed there on September 11th.

Lockers are downstairs to prevent noise in the morning so noone is packing their backpacks in the room. Big common area with a garden.

Hospitalero Carlos is very kind and helpful.

There is big supermarket nearby.
