Litle family's resto. Soup + dish + 1/2 bottle of wine + coffee = 5 EUR. Cheap but extremely tasty!

Extremely affordable price (5 euros for a full set - includes soup, bread, main course and espresso) and more traditional dishes.

The menu is in Portuguese and the staff didn't speak English fluently so it was hard to understand fully what we were ordering. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and portions were perfect for us as we usually found ourselves overwhelmed by the large portions found in other restaurants. Big eaters may find it not filling for them however. We were fully satisfied with our meal.

They close around 3pm and reopen for dinner at 7pm (at least on the Friday we went there) so be aware of that.

This is one of the most underrated little hole in the wall in Porto. For five euros you’ll get bread, soup, a main dish, a drink, and an espresso. This is a STEAL. Absolutely delicious. Even though I’m uncertain what I had (due to language barrier) the miminho with the garlic potatoes was simply divine. The portion size was perfect for 5 euros. Food was simple and healthy too. NB the restaurant also had 2 choices of vegan or vegetarian options. I wished there were more similar restaurants in Porto. If I were to live in the neighbourhood, I would’ve like to have supper at this restaurant everyday. Simply a gem.

Popped in here after a long tiring day sightseeing - what a treat! Lovely food (roast bife (or steak if you like) cooked freshly) and great atmosphere. Lots of locals came in as we ate, greeted by waitress and chef (looked like mother and daughter) with much affection. They spoke very little English and we communicated with lots of smiles, gestures and our limited Portuguese- wonderful. Wished we’d found it earlier in our trip.

I would like to point out that I am a Turkish who is into tasting stuff. And this place was AMAZING in taste, in service and cheap. People were so nice. I can not say anything bad about the place. Most valuable secret gem I have ever seen in Europe yet.

I just ran there for a quick lunch and I had amazig experience. Great meal with soup, bread, drink and coffee for 5€ and local vibe as a bonus. While you enjoy your fried chicken and potato salad, you can watch how the people from Cedofeita kiss each other after delicious coffee.

The second time I came here I was expecting it to be just as good as the first time but it was a no day for them. Glad I tried it a third time, and came back for a fourth! Too good not to go
