Beautiful place! Really worth it and easy to get there. It was somewhat cloudy, but still enjoyed a good view and a nice walk through nature.

Easy walk and fantastic views for such little effort. Easy to park here (in November) - I would guess it becomes very busy in the summer.

Parking for the start of the walk is right here. Takes around 30min one way to the platform. On the halfway point there is a cute restaurant where you can grab a coffee. Incredible scenery and the view is just fantastic!

Make sure to buy some seeds from the shops before starting the hike. You will find adorable birds flying and landing on your hand, eating from the palm of your hand. Easy hike with a beautiful view at the end.

Parking is a mess, all toursits ( us aswell ) park on the side of the road, thus eliminating 1 way. Locals hate this kind of parking.

A great little walk 40 minutes round trip. Very flat, but probably not suitable for wheelchairs.
The final viewpoint is spectacular.
Allow 10minutes just to take in the vista.

There is a cafe half way, where you can buy bird food, at the viewpoint chaffinches WILL feed from your hand if you are still enough.

You can look down on hovering hawks and see clouds spill into the valley over the nearby peaks.

Parking isn't easy but anywhere near is ok, just don't block the roads

Calm peaceful walk if you go there early with great viewpoint at the end. Be warned it gets crazy busy after around 10:30am. I recommend sunrise at Pico do Arreiro then down here before the crowds.
The snack bar on the path also does great food at fair prices.

An easy hike,. suitable for beginners, children, and elderly. Still, the views are breathtaking. You can get there by bus, though intervals aren't very convenient (the hike is short, but you have to wait for a bus for 5 hours). Nature of Madeira is just something else, so if you want to enjoy the views without enormous effort.

The view from this point is breathtaking. The hiking itself is short (about 45 min rounded up), the first 10 minutes are hard because you have to climb a few stairs, but after that it’s just a casual walk through the forest. You can feed the birds from this point.

It was a great short hike which will take 40 min back and forth. You'll hike trough the beautiful forest filled with little birds. Its a very easy path which also has a little snackbar on the route. At the end there is a great balcony with a fantastic few on the mountains of madeira. Definitely worth the visit.

A nice easy hike with a beautiful viewpoint at the end. It’s 1.5km each way (out and back to the view point) and fairly flat the whole way. Took us about 1 hour in total. Great effort to pay off ratio! There are people feeding the little birds towards the end but they probably should be feeding them bread and crisps.

Beautiful walk. Not much of an incline. The path is flat and easy to navigate. The views are worth the walk. Some birds are fed and are not too afraid of people.
The space at the top can get a little crowded.

Beautiful easy (really easy) walk for all ages with a great view at the end. Just come here early, because of tour groups - after we returned (around 1-2 pm, there were several busses, mass of people and super crowded souvenir store). In general it is really nice walk and on your way you will find a little bar/Cafe with drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Good souvenir shop at the beginning of this levada too - some original stuff for a good price.

Great hike, very very easy which was great for my daughter who hates any walk that is too steep or too long. Some great viewpoints and really stunning scenes.

Easy walk an very nice views at the end. It took way shorter to walk that what it said on the guide tho, 30min return (plus the time of taking pictures). Cute bar shortly after the start, with amazing views.

Very easy, about 30 minutes to walk to the viewpoint and back. There’re a lot of chaffinches there, don’t feed them - it’s harmful for them.
