Stairs to reach just the top of a chapel. The viewpoint on the overall valley is stunning. A must see

Not too crowded and plenty of parking on the street. The view from the top is more impressive than the church but worth the climb for sure.

Beautiful view of sao Vicente. Parking is limited but it wasn’t too crowded when we went at 4pm in November.

Breathtaking views all around from the terrace where this little chapel is located. Free street parking at the bottom of the stairs that leads here.

Beautiful location and a nice walk up to get to it. You can see São Vicente from up top and all the mountains surrounding you.
The chapel is slightly worn down but nonetheless it's still a great point of interest to visit, especially as it is in an isolated area, making it feel more special.

With good weather, this is one of the best viewpoints on the island. You can park along the road and walk up the stairs. If you want a longer hike, there are stairs going all the way down the hill opposite of the church. Drove up here to see the church and was completely taken aback by the scenic views

A great view from there to the ocean and the village. It's worth visiting and walking all those stairs up to see the view and this small church. It's not popular, so it shouldn't be crowded

What a beautiful church on the top of the hill. There are about 175 stairs from the road to the top. It is definitely worth a walk, you will be rewarded with really amazing views over the Sao Vicente area.

Beautiful! A must see if your in the area, and you definitely need to go up the hill to see the amazing views

Park at the top or walk from the bottom and enjoy the little walk up to one of the best 360 degree view points in Sao vicente

Nice point of view, easy to reach with the road. Less easier from the path downhill. They are renewing the pavements. I hope my artwork will be conserved and inspire madeiran art

One of my favourite views of São Vicente and well worth the long climb up all those steps!

We were there early one morning and had the church to ourselves. The clouds were low which made an amazing backdrop! Amazing photos were obtained!

Defenitely worth the hike, I took the other way around with no stairs, it was longer but I think easier. A little chapel but with very stunning views, one of the best on the island!
