Rent a Car 'Williams Car Rental'

Excellent communication, good and reliable cars, good price. I found them on the net and I wasn't disappointed. What they promised we got. They gave us the best price (automatic cars, full insurance) for cars to rental picking/returning and paying (by cash or cards as you want) only at the airport. We just had to complete the ordering form on the net, sending them and waited to arrive. We got the confirmation by email and before arriving they gave us all information (gmail and whatsapp). Thank you for everything, and we definitely offer Williams Car Rental to anybody who want a reliable partner and good cars.

One of the best experiences I ever had with a car company. Don't get fooled by their slightly old looking website. The people behind it are super friendly and helpful. You even get a contact via Whatsapp to ask important questions during your trip, if need be. The car was clean and new, paired with a fair price. Book your car with them, you won't regret it!

Pick up was clear and easy, even though I made a mistake with the pickup hour and mobile number. Company emailed me and made things smooth for us.

We were introduced into a WhatsApp group, made things very uncomplicated.

Dropoff went very fast, even though they couldn't make it in person (flat Tyre). Clear instructions, simple process, top notch communication.

Competitive prices, good car, friendly and easily reachable staff via WhatsApp or email. Easy pick up and drop off at the airport. We had no issues with the car but what I will say is definitely get a car with at least 90 HP! I don’t know how people manage in fiat 500 on those hills😂

Best car rental experience ever!! We managed to get a suitable car, by telephone/text exchanges well after office hours, the evening before we needed it. The car was delivered to our doorstep punctually, at a very competitive price, with no hidden extras. Very friendly assistant, full of useful information on local driving conditions and tourism. Would give 10 stars for the service if we could!!

Friendly service. Clean and nice car. No deposit or hidden fees. We paid for a Nissan Micra a reasonable 143 euros for 4 days, in total with the full risk insurance 175 euros. Fast chek-in and check-out at the airport. We even got some good tips about where to park for free in Funchal. Would recommend them!

Everything was perfect. The car was what we paid for, pick up and return in the airport, everything went smooth.
There is often some catch with car rentals, but I cannot find any on this one.

We were in search of a car for a week so Mr.Williams was one of the agencies I contacted.
He responded the same day even though it was late at night so indeed the communication is 24h a day !!!
He was waiting for us upon arrival at the airport to give us the car. Very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know about the island and the roads. The whole process was super fast .
The price was the most reasonable one out of all the offers I got and it even included the full insurance.
No deposit and you could pay card or cash! So no stress to have a big amount of cash with you.
We had an early departure flight and he was also there waiting for us.

During our stay in Madeira we had a small issue and he replied immediately through what's app.

I made a reservation by email and paid on arrival. Organization was perfect -the guy from car rental company was waiting for us at the airport - although our plane had 30-min delay; he contacted me via SMS and whatsapp. Pick-up of the car was very fast, drop-off as well - at the airport parking. Very competitive prices, no hidden costs, full insurance with no excess and no deposit, second driver included with no additional cost - highly recommended!

Great and easy service! We were really satisfied. Paperwork went fast. There is no deposit, no credit card, full insurance and 2nd driver already included in price. The fuel policy works not full to full, but you refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle. Communication was really easy, via email or via WhatsApp. We were late with dropping off the car in the airport around 10minutes and the man was really kind, he check the car and fuel level quickly. It didn't take more than 3min. I strongly recommend this company and next time we choose them again.

Car rental the way it should be! Got the car (Dacia Stepway - works great on steep narrow roads) delivered to our house and picked up really early at the airport. Both times with a smile and friendly small talk. Paid in the car via hand held terminal, opted for surprisingly cheap full insurance (it's Madeira, you SHOULD get it, crazy roads). I'm not going to state the price tag because I think Williams is going to have to raise his prices a bit soon, but it was inexpensive indeed. Don't get fooled by his retro looking website and odd booking form, he is super responsive and trustworthy, at least in my experience.

Very good experience hiring a car from the company. Super easy and quick drop off at the airport. As some people mentioned, it's good to have a stronger car for the island. Very happy with the experience.

I highly recommend this car rental. I was a little bit afraid as I had a very bad experience last time with a small, local car rental on Mallorca. But this one was so much different. Fully professional, no hidden costs, zero excess full insurance for a reasonable price. Very good contact. Easy and quick pick-up and drop-off in front of the terminal. The car was a Dacia Sandero Stepway with 17000 km. We got automatic gear (booked manual) which was very helpful on the steep roads of Madeira. Only the fuel was not full but 1/4 of the tank.

Excellent experience. Booked online based on other reviews. Very competing prices with full insurance and second driver included. Friendly rep waiting for us on arrival at the airport, with the car. Quick handover. Car was modern, clean and had low mileage. Returning to the airport was very easy with the Rep waiting for us at departures. Highly recommend.

Good car rental in Madeira and reasonable price compared to others. Easy communication and I suggest paying a bit more to have airport pickup and dropoff. No deposit if full insurance.
