Like all levadas in Madeira, it is worth visiting and walking around.
Beautiful vegetation and peace... but only outside the main tourist season.

Stunning easy walk to a beautiful waterfall, well worth a visit.

It's not a strenuous walk, but there are some steep drops to the side of the paths, so care should be taken when on the walk as it's difficult to pass people in places.

Very flat, not crowded as opposed to other trails. Leads to one beautiful waterfall and, with a quick detour, can take you to Risco Waterfall, which is mesmerizing. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable walk and stunning waterfalls. In our opinion better than the busier and tougher 25 fountains. This was quieter and more beautiful.

Nice and easy levada with nearly no altitude. You can switch 1km before the end to a path downhill, which has a lot of steps to climb down, but an amazing waterfall at the end. You have then to walk back the street from the forest house.

This levada is easy to navigate, mostly on flat terrain. As it winds through dense vegetation filled with trees, ferns, and lichens, you won't experience vertigo, making it an excellent choice if you're not comfortable with heights. I highly recommend exploring this levada. You can easily combine it with other hiking paths and make it back to the car park without returning on the same path. Don't forget about the waterfall at the end!

Make sure you have warm and rainproof gear. Even if it's 25°c down at the coast.

Great hiking area in Madeira. Access about 40-50 minute drive by car, trail about 7-8km return, so good for 1/2 day of walking.

Stunning views of valley and waterfalls along way. Generally flat walk, with optional additional waterfall which is challenging decline and incline.

Great walk to do in Madeira.

Really easy & beautiful trail. Suitable for everyone. Beautiful lagoons at the end of the trail - you can swim, but it will be cold!

This hike is more of a walk so suitable for almost everyone. In total it took us 2 hours 45 mins which included 1 hour we spent relaxing in the sun, swimming (quite cold but worth it) and having our packed lunch at the waterfall. Highly recommend

Many visit the area for the 25 Fonts walk, but to the right of the parking area is the start of this fabulous easy walk. A flight of stone steps starts you off but following that there is a clear easy path with lovely views and culminating in a magical little glen with a lovely waterfall and pool. Not challenging, but still a walk not to be missed.

A wonderful walk with nice views and access to two waterfalls. But be aware, there are many stairs an steps, you'll have to take. Take care, that you are feeling good and healthy while starting the walk.

What a beauty! Easy to walk and the view is amazing. I recommend to take this hike on a sunday morning. You'll have the chance to enjoy the waterfall at the end alone which is quite a win.

Easy Levada mostly within tunnels of thick bushes but with the occasional amazing view over the valley. It's very pleasant to walk, mostly really flat with the option to take a detour or alternative return via lagoa do vento. It's very doable and safe for every experience level.

Great not demanding walk, finishing with amazing waterfall. Since there is no massive variation in heights, this walk is suitable for families. Also, there is connection to the Risco waterfall, which is also stunning. Easy to reach Rabacal cafe. P.S. there was a lot of calfs on the parking lot, quite stubborn ones, blocking the car, it was a challenge to go around it

Amazing path. It is possible to just follow the llevada back and forth directly from the parking lot, or to do a circular walk going through a fantastic forest (for that first go down towards the 50-falls starting point and follow the sign leaving the street on the right.)
Reach the final waterfall and enjoy the power of nature!
