Casa Alegre

We, a family of 5 from Belgium, 2 adults, 3 children (10,9, and 1,5 years old) had an amazing holiday in Casa Alegre. The house is really spacious, has everything you need, especially also for our little one (toys, babycot, high chair, locked gates to the swimmingpool, ...). It was really nice to arrive and to see that there was already done some shopping like milk, juice, butter, coffee, bread, cheese, ....we really felt home! The garden is spacious, and beautiful to walk around, and the swimmingpool (heated) was paradise for our kids! The terras is overlooking the surrounding area, and was really quiet on top of the hill. The villa is well located, we rented a car, and did several daytrips in the area, like Silves, Capo Vincente, Lagos, Benagil Caves, Monchique,... all nearby.
Thank you very much for staying at your beautiful house, we will definitely return!

We had a fabulous time at Casa Alegre with the autumn sun shining all week through. The heated pool is a bonus and really extends the day right into the evenings so that the sunsets can be enjoyed while swimming the obligatory daily laps!😀. Look forward to returning in 2023 for more of the same home-from-home holiday experience.

We stayed for 6 nights in May and had a brilliant trip. We travelled with our two young children and felt both safe and comfortable at the villa. The pool is fantastic and feels very private which we liked. We hired a car for the duration and ventured into Silves and to see the caves at Banagil (highly recommend) all of which are just a short drive away! Communications were excellent and we had a fantastic time :)

We had a wonderful holiday in Case Alegre.
It was just perfect , tranquil , perfect position and very well appointed , you will want for nothing . We were last there some 20 years ago when our family were quite young , we have several holidays at Casa Alegre then and it was wonderful to return.
It’s the perfect Villa to rest, unwind and to explore the sunny Algarve .
The heating of the pool is a great addition and a perfect way to spend the day .
We would thoroughly recommend Casa Alegre as the perfect Villa for an Algarve Holiday and can’t wait to return again !

Great place...

Zehn sonnige Märztage in diesem komfortablen Haus mit dem wunderschön blühenden Garten und dem tollen beheizten Pool liegen hinter uns. Ca. 20 Autominuten von der Küste im grünen Orangenplantagengebiet gelegen, bietet Casa Alegre Ruhe, Ausblick in die Landschaft und den Duft von Orangenblüten rund um die Uhr. Nach einer unkomplizierten Buchung wurden wir am ersten Tag mit einem gefüllten Kühlschrank und frischem Obst empfangen, vielen Dank dafür. Wir haben jeden Tag von dort aus einen anderen der feinsandigen Strände und pittoresken Felsformationen besucht und /oder eine der sehenswerten Städte besichtigt (ein Auto ist notwendig). Und natürlich haben wir den Pool ausgiebig genutzt. Gern werden wir einmal wiederkommen.

Just returned from a lovely week in this villa, beautifully laid out and i have never stayed in a villa with so many little extras in the kitchen, it is very quiet and peaceful a good central point for seeing the algarve! the view is amazing except for the building of a new villa just in front. This did not spoil the week though as they were only there for one day and we had been warned and had been given a discount because of this.
The only annoyance was the lack of the maid but i would say it didnt spoil my holiday and i would definately recommend it to friends and family 😁😁
