Beautiful sandy beach, We stayed in Alvor which is amazing, would highly recommend this area and beach for fantastic, friendly holiday

Perfect beach and dogs are allowed here. Finally beach where they don’t discriminate dogs

Big, mostly empty beach at the end of Meia Praia. On the lagoon side good kite surfing at high tide. Dogs tolerated. Do not let them run in the dunes though to protect ground hatching birds! Lots of nice sea shells to collect.

Queer-friendly tucked away beach. Park and make your way across the isthmus. Keep going on a footpath through the dunes to this lovely stretch of ocean. Enjoy!

Nice quiet beach a little out of the way of the main areas with a few low-key restaurants and cafes

Fantastic place for taking our Portuguese waterdog water dog. He loves to swim in the lagoon.

Almost virgin beach. So naturally, without that big human presence. A little paradise

Don't go there! Too much walking. Leave it to locals.

Praia fantástica com uma frequência familiar.
Os acessos não são fáceis, mas compensa a dificuldade.
Nudismo tolerado em toda a praia.
Zona central não recomendada.
O lado este do areal é muito calmo, com pouca gente (mesmo em Agosto).

wunderschöner langer Sandstrand mit Blick auf Alvor...um dorthin zu gelangen, muss man allerdings erst ziemlich weit in Landesinnere laufen.

Praia sem confusão, perto da urbanização Foz da Ria, infelizmente os acessos para este lado da praia não são bons.
