Take a Bao

A big thanks to the team at Take a Bao and The Collab for a lovely dining experience.
We enjoyed a lovely selection of craft beer, natural wine & exciting cocktails to compliment our Asian food.

We had a selection of fresh baos and asian snacks (the homemade steamed dumplings are a must!). Everything was very tasty and we were impressed by what they managed to create in the small kitchen.

The staff were very friendly and were able to make suitable recommendations. The space is really plesant and the views from the terrace are amazing!

We will return next time we visit Lagos!

What a surprising and excellent find during our stay in Lagos.

My husband and I tried a couple different Bao buns, teriyaki chicken and spicy Korean cauliflower. Both were absolutely excellent! I found the flavors just the right balance.

I had refreshing sangria and the hubby had a craft beer he would not be able to have at home, which was a win! By the way, this place has a pretty extensive craft beer menu to choose from, along with many cocktails and wine options too!

The owner and staff are so friendly and kind.

If you are in the area, stop by and give this place a try. This is definitely happy food!

Found this place via the sign on the main road and gave it a go for a quick lunch.
The Baos were packed with meat, and very tasty.

Great Asian Street Food and great atmosphere. The owners will make you feel like home. There is always something going on: a quiz night, an exhibition, workshops etc. It might not be easy to find at first - it's behind the big new building (just need to go through a passage), but it's actually very closed to the beach and the old town.

I could easily spend all day here, great food, wonderful beer selection and friendly, attentive service. Will be back very soon

Best Bao in Lagos! A must try if you like Asian food!

Very nice Asian restaurant! Everything is cooked at the moment! The food is very tasty, the personnel is nice and professional! Hidden near the garden it is a place where will like to be at!

Loved the char siu bao buns, the Korean fried chicken bao, and the Thai veggie egg rolls! Plus a great selection of Portuguese brewed beer - not just Sagres or SuperBock!

First introduced to the food at a local festival last summer. A bit hard to find but well worth the effort. Fantastic local craft beer selection, nice list of Portuguese wines that are reasonably priced, and the food was tasty and well prepared. we ordered the spring rolls, Asian noodle salad, pork char su, and prawn tempura Baos, we were not disappointed. Bonus was the view from the terrace on a spectacular sunny November day in Lagos.

Great asian street food. We got a vinho verde and a porto tonic - and the best bao we have tasted. The atmosphere outside was so nice, the playlist was on point and really nice service from Andy. Definitely worth a visit

Amazing food! The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The cider and beer selection was delightful! Definitely in my top three favorite places to eat in Lagos.

One of the best places you can visit of you're into beer and food. The Service is amazingly friendly the food is astonishing and the selection of beer is outstanding.
