Restaurante Grill "A Marisqueira"

Squid Kebab and Octopus Stew were excellent dishes for the night. After a long day of travel and some Vinho Verde, it was a great meal. It was a little bit of wait but well worth it. Recommendation from hotel, as it’s the more traditional choice than nearby spots.

A.hood spot if you are looking for something off the grill. Their chicken was fantastic, and the Algarve salad was the best I've had.

Amazing barbecue food. I had the mixed kebab which was beef and pork. Outstanding. My friend had sea bass and loved it. Her husband and my wife both had the Piri Piri chicken which was gorgeous. Genuinely great food and nice authentic surroundings.

A great family run restaurant with an artist on the grill. From fish to ribs, every dish was cooked to perfection.
Excellent wine list, efficient and friendly service, and homemade deserts make for a truly enjoyable experience. Open lunch and dinner. Reservations advised!
Will definitely go back.

What a delightful surprise. This was the best fish I had in the Algarve. Fair prices, friendly staff and what a spectacular “Espetada de Peixe” (Fish Skew)

Don’t let fancier places delude you; restaurants like this are where local and great Portuguese food is.

Came here on a recommendation from a fellow West Ham supporter and his wife and was not disappointed the staff are friendly and efficient and although we only had the Chicken Piri Piri it was better than your run of the mill one as the spices and crispy skin made it really tasty and the chicken itself was well cooked but tender with it.
We only had water with our meal as I couldn't drink due to medical reasons, but the atmosphere in here was buzzing, and the food was quick to be served.
Nice meal, great evening. We will be back and next time will try the fish as there was a lot on offer.

Overall a very good dining experience with above average, well priced and tasty grilled food. Service was good and friendly and the house wine was also decent.

Popped in as a different restaurant was closed to a private party. Offered an inside table in a nice cosy and well decorated area.

Ordered Piri Piri Chicken from the grill. It was nice and juicy, and nicely presented.

All in all a nice place to find on the off chance.

Excellent service, excellent food. If you want to try Portuguese sardines, this is a good place to go.

Excellent, authentic Portuguese food cooked on an open BBQ grill with friendly and efficient service. We enjoyed fresh fish, meat and salads all cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. We came back multiple times during our stay as it was the best Portuguese food we’ve had in the Algarve!

We had the lobster rice and a cataplana. Both were very tasty. The service and cleanliness was what put this restaurant appart from other. Strongly recommend!

Had a wonderful meal last night. Fresh fish, squid kebab and vegan choice. Yummy dessert choices too. Ambient continues to be friendly and relaxed, staff were fab (excellent English spoken for those that don't speak Portuguese) and with the wind breaker we weren't cold at all (there was a heat if we wanted). Definitely will go back.

Brilliant had a great meal and great service a great selection on the menu. We all had peri peri chicken all done to perfection our friends have serval dietary restrictions and they were very happy to change and add other products. We will definitely be returning.

My family have been coming here for over 20 years and still love it! This is one of the most authentic restaurants in Carvoeiro and it’s great value for money (lunch or dinner).

Their grilled sardines are the first thing I want to eat whenever I come to Portugal.
