Forneria São Pedro

We loved this place. Tucked away above the Douro Marina on the Gaia bank, it has a brick oven and produces wonderful pizzas, pastas and other dishes. With a funky atmosphere, it is lively and noisy and bustling. The staff work their butts off so the service is pretty fast and very friendly.

Incredible food!! My companion had the francensinha which was the best i’ve tasted in the last 4 years (i am lisbon based!) I had the wild mushroom pizza and it was sooooo good i could happily eat it all over again! Great fast service and lovely staff too :) real gem of a place.

Great service in this local restaurant. Right up the hill from the marina after your river cruise. They don’t speak any English at all but you can point and they will understand. It was lovely and they couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating

Nice restaurant were you can have a decent pizza. The carpaccio was great and the price medium.

This place has excellent food! I honestly think I had the best pizza ever. We didn't make a reservation so we had to wait to get a table... Totally worth it! Additionally, the staff is also very nice.

One of the best pizzas in the world! I travel a lot and I love pizza. The place rocks! Wooden oven, delicious pizza, excellent wines. Modern decor with nice views to the river. It’s a "must go” restaurant.

Ambiente muito bom, aconchegado e decoração original.
Comida em forno de lenha, estava muito boa.
Comemos camarão crocante de entrada, 1 pizza capriciosa, 1 portuense e liguini à bolonhesa; uma sangria branca, uma pepsi, 2 sobremesas e dois cafés - 22,65€ por pessoa.
Tem uma vista bonita sobre a ponte e o rio mas talvez por ser de noite não achei nada de especial.
