From the outside doesn't give a good impression but when you get in you will notice the charm of the place. The service is exceptional. They gave us appetizers for free, that is something I respect. We had the octopus and were really happy with the choice. It really was fatty and hard to digest but it tasted wonderful and was the softest octopus I ever had. It melts in your mouth. We also had a fine white house wine to accompany the delicious dish. Super happy. But too full for desert. :)

Spectacular service from the moment we walked in the door. We ordered two different octopus dishes, breaded fillets and confited in olive oil with onions, tomatoes and garlic. These were served alongside octopus rice. The rice was good and was served al dente. The fillets were tender inside and crispy on the outside. They both paled in comparison to the Polvo a Lagareiro which was beyond spectacular. Quite easily one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. We followed with Pao d'Oro (a light custardy cake) and a really good espresso. Far and away one of the best meals we have ever had in Portugal, or elsewhere.

Great Portuguese food. Portions are big so 1 dish easily feeds two. Prices are fair. Service its OK, nothing wow which should and could. The owner should come out to the restaurant more often and greet clients. Will make a huge difference.

Primeira experiência neste restaurante e foi fantástica. Comemos um arroz de robalo acompanhado com tinto montes ermos e finalizamos com tarte de amêndoa e de limão mais dois cafés.

Embora já conhecesse à algum tempo, nunca tinha tido a oportunidade de me deleitar ao comer uns bolinhos de bacalhau(os quais repetimos a dose), como já não comia à anos(o bolinho na verdadeira acepcao da palavra e gosto🥰), uma caldeirada de tamboril com gambas, soberba, e um arroz de perdiz, simplesmente um achado gastronómico. Para finalizar um pão de ló regado com vinho do Porto, sem palavras🙏👏👏👏👏👏. Muito obrigado por me fazerem lembrar outros tempos e pessoas🤗😘

A sala é muito agradável e o serviço profissional e atencioso. Provamos um peixe grelhado, exatamente no ponto, com os respetivos grelos e batatinhas a acompanhar e estava excelente. Percebeu -se a qualidade da cozinha e o respeito pelos produtos. A voltar certamente.

O arroz de frango à bulhão e os filetes com arroz de grelos são maravilhosos.

Cozinha tradicional portuguesa no seu melhor por um preço justo. Comi rancho e tripas à moda do Porto. Recomendo
