Medieval Bridge of Vilela

Beautiful medieval bridge located on the eco via situated next to the Vez.
Possibility to swim in the Vez a few hundred meters upstream.
Across the bridge is a small bar only open during the holidays

Beautiful bridge surrounded by trees and a gracious river. There is a small fluvial beach which might be popular on hot days. We were the only ones there and it was absolutely stunning with the light at the end of the day. I hope to go back and do the entire ecovia all the way from Sistelo. What I saw shows it is definitely worth a second visit. Important note: I saw a taxi near the bridge clearly waiting for people looking for a ride to Sistelo which would make the hike one-way (11 km) downhill. That's the way to do it.

Great and quiet place to take a break from the city.

Nice old bridge. A good spot to have a bath on Vez river. The start/end point of the stage 3 of the ecovia (Vilela - Sistelo).

Nice place. From here you can start the "ecovia" all the way up to Sistelo,a total of 10km. But I recommend to start from Sistelo, headed south

Zona muito bonita e possiblidade de caminhada pelos passadiços. Nesta altura escorregam muito aconselhável calçado apropriado

Très bel endroit,l'eau un peu fraîche 😉😁😁, petite plage pour se poser,de quoi passer une belle journée avec un pique nique.

Bonito lugar para ir a pasear por el rio o bañarse.
Merece la pena pasar si estas cerca.
Tambien hay un chiringuito cerca por si quieres tomar algo.

Um dos locais da Ecovia do Vez. Muito pitoresco.

Um dos lugares mais lindos de Portugal. Além da beleza da ponte, a caminhada de cerca de 1 km ao lado do rio Vez acima é fantástica. Cucos, ovelhas e o som límpido da natureza com o Vez em pequenas quedas fazem querer voltar!

Local natural e rural muito bonito. Tem bar próximo, muito útil para apoio às caminhadas.

Sempre que vou aos Arcos passar férias nunca falta um mergulho por baixo da magnifica ponte de vilela. Paisagem lindíssima, relaxante e tem um pequeno bar de apoio para beber alguma coisa
