Lots of seating, very nice staff, delicious sandwiches and pastries. The nata are huge, but I fell in love with the algarvia maracuja.

Finally we found a place with delicious sweets and coffee. Perfect location, parking nearby. I like it!

A regular stop off for coffee & cake but today we tried the prego. It was beautiful, with tasty fresh bread. Steak,cheese,ham,salad with a soft egg on top. Will definitely have again.

Cute pastry shop with a lot of both savory and sweet options. Staff is very helpful and helps to answer any questions. We ordered the empanada looking thing with beef and bolognese and both were delicious. It’s open pretty early and on Sundays. Would recommend!

great location for breakfast, apparently many locals come here. 10-12€ for a meal for 2 persons incl. sandwiches, pastry & coffee. highly recommend!!! helpful and friendly service on top.

Probably the best bakery in all Madeira, not to say all Portugal. A lot of different choice of pasteries, and even pasteis with chocolate. Also they are cooking some sandwiches that will make your day of you plan to go to a Levada after!

The best patisserie far and wide. They have SO MUCH cake. It's a paradise for any sweet tooth. Makes me overlook the average coffee. You can sit outside with service or just go shopping inside. Nice selection of breads and buns as well. Going here almost daily.

Clean & easy to navigate . Some items are more than in some other Mercados , but overall good selection , except no fresh bread

Excellent value lunchtime special for 6 euros. Also a good range of cakes, pastries and bread. Small parking area in front.

Make a stop for a garoto and some pasteis when driving though Ribeira. There’s free parking in front of the bakery.
(PS: The other pastry is also great!)

Well priced and delicious baked goods. You can park in front of the supermarket and it is in the building on the left.
