Restaurante A Ginja

Fantastic local restaurant with the best Espetada in Madeira. The food was perfectly prepared. It was juicy with the right amount of garlic and salt. The fries were freshly made with a touch of garlic and the salad was fresh. The red wine from Douro area was a good choice with the meat. The staff are super nice and friendly and although they do not speak English very well you can feel you are welcomed and they take good care of you. Totally recommend and would definitely come back for the Espetada (with and without bone). The with bone option was even juicier and those who like their meat a bit more fatty (like I do) won't be disappointed with this amazing dish.

Delicious food!
Mix meat on the stick is really tasty, beef filet is perfect!
But the king of the night was small little burger on their own bread- it costs something around 3,75 and is insanely Delicious!
And the house was full!! I mean really filled with locals!

Very nice food. We had 3 different meals and all were very nice. If we have time, we shall eat here again. And for the thrifty, very well priced. Enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.

Recommend by a local and it didn’t disappoint. Local dishes at local prices. Super good!

Was amazing litle spot my son advice me for this restaurant and we came for is birthday dinner. Starter petisto da casa main beef skewer Madeira style desert homemade passion fruit mouse... Simply perfet
