Nice place, good program for all ages, worth visiting. There is a free parking lot with many places near the hotel. Just follow the path to the viewpoint, take photos. Amazing view, lots of kinds of beautiful flowers and plants around. There is also a cafe, restaurant and a souvenir shop at the bottom of the hotel.

You have to see this place to really get the full impact. It is absolutely gorgeous!! Well worth the long drive up a the twisting and winding mountainside road to reach it!!

Breathtaking view. Incredible scale of mountains with villages under them. Unbelievable valley. Must see for sure. I recommend to go on sunset, there was just a few people up there and parking totally free. Up there is very steep road but small car can manage it. From parking its like 2 minutes walk to the balcony. Worth to visit!!!

This is THE view to the Nuns Valley. So much more impressive than the coastal Skywalk, but takes a bit of effort to get here. Amazing and so very far above the valley floor! Awesome views. There's a good cafe to stop and refresh too.

One of the most incredible view points I've seen on the island. The magical climb up the narrow road through the clouds makes it special and then a short walk up the path leads you to phenomenal beauty looking down into the valley. Absolutely stunning.

beautiful walk and less than fifteen minutes to get to the top. stepped access the whole way. we went for sunset and were the only people there which was lovely.

amazing view of the valley - just make sure to check the webcams before you leave to check that visibility is okay!

Another very family friendly view-point in Madeira as it is only a short walk away from the parking. Easy to access by car from funchal, has a big parking and there is a nice restaurant/cafe on site.

Breathing view and awesome trail from the village to this place. It took us 2 hours, almost no people on the trail and great views!
The restaurant has a good refreshment and parking place up there is also quite big. Recommendation from my side to see this place!

One of the most beautiful spots of the island. Extremely nice, but difficult access for the brave.
I do not recommend it when you are driving the first day on Madeira. Food, souvenir shops, and viewpoint.

Incredible views over the mountain ranges and just a short walk up from the parking lot (although there are quite a few stairs!) For photographers, it’s not really an ideal sunset spot as the mountains block the light of the sun as it sets

View into the nuns valley, Restaurant and Souvenirs. For Toilette 🚽 you have to pay or if you buy something it is free.

Very beautiful views from this spot. Only down side is if you’re not good with altitudes and tight curves, you may not like the way up that much. I think it’s worth it if you’re good with altitudes etc.

Lovely viewing point. Ramps half way abd stairs the other half no disable access to the main viewing point. Looks over the Nuns Valley. Can use toilets at the restaurant. Some traditional souvenirs. Roads not too bad. Beautiful place. bit of cleaning needed within the small cave

Spectacular. In my personal opinion, height and space effect here is much stronger than Miradouro do Cabo Girão. And free! You can have coffee to wear the adrenaline rush in nearby cafe afterwards.
