Quinta da Luz - A Luxury Boutique B&B

We had an amazing stay here, the rooms were very up to date, clean and modern. The bed was also very comfortable and spacious which is sometimes not the norm in Europe.

The breakfast was delicious and the salt water pool was great! Toby and Kristen were very friendly and genuinely interested in your stay.

Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay! The owners Kristin and Tobi are so unbelievably friendly and instantly make you feel at home. Rooms are well decorated, comfy bed. The grounds are simply stunning: beautiful pool, nice terrace and everything is surrounded by orchards. Breakfast amazing 🤩 we can totally recommend this Quinta! 10/10!!

Such a wonderful countryside place to stay if you visit Portugal. Amazing views and peaceful environment surrounded by nature. The hosts are super kind and attentive. The breakfast is just delicious.

Kristin and Toby are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We loved the invitation to a BBQ with the rest of the guests that Kristin and Toby made, which felt lovely and intimate as there are only a few rooms at the Quinta. It almost felt like we were having a BBQ at a friends house with Toby and Kristin staying out late with a small fire under the stars, where we shared stories of travelling and had some drinks.

The pool is divine, the views and the grounds are beautiful to walk around in the evening with the lemon and orange trees. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety of breads, cofees, teas, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals, sweet treats, eggs, hams, fruits, etc. - you name it.

The rooms and beds are very clean and super comfortable with luxury sheets and towels. Honestly this place is paradise and Kristin and Toby have created something very special.

We would recommend this boutique B&B away from the Algarve crowds to anyone! 10/10.

We fell absolutely in love with this place and if we would have the opportunity we would have stayed longer for sure!
It’s a really calm, relaxed and special atmosphere here - you will enjoy it right after setting a foot in this place. Prepare to relax here, it will happen very easily.

We felt very welcomed and looked after. Tobias & Kristin are always there to make you happy with good breakfast, snacks for lunch or even a BBQ in the evening with the things you like.
Also Tibo, a fluffy and lovely dog is an awesome feel good manager at the Quita da Luz - he deserves some treats for making us feel at home (because we missed our own dog).

The rooms are very well equipped, with everything you need (even a speaker in the bathroom) and look very nice and modern.
The pool area is amazing (we liked the chilled music in the background) and the plants and fruits in the garden are also nice to look at and take a little walk.

Kristin will provide with a very helpful guide with information about the area in the Algarve and a lot of recommendations and things to do.

Quinta Da Luz looks over a dreamy valley with vines, and the spot is absolutely unique !
The house is beautifully renovated, the rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast is EXCELLENT !

Kristin and Tobias (and tibo the 🐶), have made Quinta da Luz a little slice of heaven. Rooms are luxurious (proper showers, Bluetooth speaker in shower) with great amenities, a comfortable bed and enough space. It’s quiet and relaxed, a place that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the green surroundings.
It’s near enough Silves and plenty of beaches to still get the Algarve experience, but balanced with a peaceful spot to recover when needed.
The pool is beautiful, and a great spot to watch the stars ✨! Their hospitality was really felt by us, and I can’t wait to return.

Quinta de Luz can only be recommended! The location, the rooms, the outside area invite you to relax, to calm down and to be happy. The rooms are even better and more comfortable as on the photos and we were happily surprised after staying in some more expensive and not so comfi stays/rooms directly on the coast.
The hosts - Kirstin and Tobi- are great & give you the feeling to be more than welcomed to stay and are taking care of all wishes and needs. The breakfast is exceptional and almost everything is homemade. The Marmelade is outstanding.
Horse riding, cycling tours and great restaurants can be found in the direct neighborhood and you are surrounded by orange and lemon trees.
We will definitely come back.

We could not recommend this place enough - if there were six stars, we’d give six stars. The hosts are warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. They helped us book reservations for dinner at unique local restaurants, they provided us with a beach umbrella that really saved us, and they even helped research COVID test requirements and testing options to return to our home country. We also found out that they can help with golf reservations (but we were focused on beaches). The room and the entire B&B felt very private and intimate. The room was impeccably clean every day and we loved the aesthetics and tasteful details. The bed was incredibly comfortable- we slept great!!
The breakfast was DELICIOUS, with enough options for everyone’s tastes. Every day had different special little details that we loved.
We were originally a bit worried that the location might be a little isolated from beaches and food options, but we actually really enjoyed the nearby, cute town of Silves, and exploring all the Algarve beaches, that were all easily accessible (~30 mins) with our rental car. The beautiful pool was such a lovely place to come back to after a long day at the beach.

We enjoyed the warm welcome, the good cares, hospitality, that I was allowed to borrow the laptop, the reservations that Kristin made for us, the nice walk that we made on the domain, the delicious breakfast, the rooms that were very clean … It felt like home. We hope that we can come back in the future!

Very friendly people who are very sweet. Great service with a fantastic view. When sitting on the terrace you have a view which looks over all the orange farms. Unique!

marie and her husband are adorable. this is the perfect place if you look for a comfortable and a peaceful environment: close to silves and central in the algarve region. breakfast was our best moment of the day, the view is amazing, marie prepares a different little fish every day, in addition to those fresh tomatoes, a fruit salad and much more. we have been visiting and out every day, but it was great to come "home" every night. A nice pool for those who want to relax and don't take the car everyday. I highly recommend this place.

Duas Quintas is a lovely B&B surrounded by orange trees in a beautyful environment. The owners, Mary and Les are very kind and friendly people. One of the best places to stay in the Algarve.
