Beautiful small restaurant. A little bit hidden but worth to look for. And don’t be scared to knock at door. ;) We had a nice chat with the owner and the food and wine were just gorgeous.

We had the cod croquette, smoked chorizo, bacalao al bras, and the prawn curry. We finished with bolo de Bolacha as a dessert and drank a bottle of Lisboa Chardonnay. Loved it all. Great service. You do need to knock at the door to get in. Booking is recommended.

Restaurant hidden in a small street, but worth the visit. Better to book if you want a chance to get in.
Food was very tasty and the service was great. Good attention from the waiters, who also tried to speak in Italian with us.

Service was a little slow, but that is due to the waiter being trained. He did everything great! No complains there really. Give him 2-3 weeks and he will be a pro! 😁

Very good! We had a couple of white wine glasses. Also enjoy the friend green beans which were okay. Others appetizers of the beef were delicious (the sauce), but meat not as tender as expected. Shrimp app was delicious, cooked perfectly. Cod main dish was very good, loved how clean it was. A couple of bones but still wonderful.

Thank you for the friendly service and fun conversation. We loved the entire experience, from the regional cheese and chorizo, to the olives, to the prawns in oil and garlic, and the octopus dishes. The dessert cookie cake was amazing as well! The well appointed wine list and the comfortable, intimate atmosphere just added to entire meal. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Lisbon.

The staff very friendly, restaurant very clean, food was great. We had some cod starters and cod with cream and rice with monk fish as the second plates. Dessert the cookie cake and siricaia. I have to unbuckle my belt because we didn't leave a crumb. A little hard to find but worth the search. Google maps will lead you right to the door. Don't pass this place up if you are clis by.

Very nice place to have some authentic Portuguese dinner. Wide range of beautiful wines which are nicely stored in climate cabinets. The owner is friendly and speaks English. A place you definitely have to visit when you're in Alfama, Lisabon

Absolutely amazing food and service. The rice and octopus, the pork, the bacalhau a bras all great. We’ll be recommending this place to anyone who wants to try traditional Portuguese food (we’ve lived in Portugal 3 years and it’s not that easy to find somewhere really good).

The dessert were also fantastic. We had the condensed milk mousse (wasn’t too sweet, delicious).

1st day in Lisbon went to this amazing place. The owner was very friendly and his attention to details is reflected in the space decoration and food plating. Everything was delicious. I recommend this fantastic restaurant in the heart of Alfama

What a absolutely lovely restaurant. It is stylish, cozy and has absolutely divine food.
The owner is a super nice man and really helpful with all your needs.
The food was beyond and you could even watch while the chef was cooking.
Prices were more then okey for the meal we've got! Pleas visit them even if it's absolutely hidden.

Excellent dinner spot. This restaurant has great ambience and very friendly staff. Food itself is 10/10. Great choice if you’re looking to try something a little fancy. I ordered the octopus rice stew and it was so delicious!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the pasteis de bacalhau and the fried green beans as starter and octopus with rice and salted cod with maize bread as mains. Food was made perfectly.

Another thing is that the waitress working was so wonderful and warm. She gave us recommendations and just had good chat and rapport with all guests.

Amazing traditional Portuguese food. The owner is fantastic and will make you feel at home. Our waiter from Germany was exceptional, we enjoyed speaking with him and getting some great recommendations.

This is wonderful restaurant! We were so happy to have found this hidden gem. The owner is so wonderful and lovely, and the food is delicious. The price is very reasonable even though it’s in the heart, the centre of a tourist place. We loved it so much that we visited twice!

This is an amazing place, best meal we had in Portugal , the atmosphere is so nice, service spot on and extremely friendly and the food is out of this world- fine dining level at a very reasonable price!!! Thank you very much for an excellent evening!

What a great find! We absolutely loved the food, the place and the service. We went with our 1-year old baby and the waiter was extremely kind. It helped us have a much better time. The food was delicious. We had bacalao pasteles, shrimp curry with basmati rice and bacalao with vegetables and potatoes. Everything top quality! Couldn’t recommend it enough if you want a local taste of Portuguese cuisine.
