Pleasant campground, oneofthenicest we'vebeen to in Portugal. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the beach and hiking path along the shore. Construction site nearby but not annoying. Off season only pitches without trees available which is OK, provided the temperatures. Facilities OK and clean. Store and restaurant on site. Will come again. Recommend.

We absolutely love this campground! Very clean, great facilities, wonderful staff. The restaurant is outstanding and the pool on excellent hotel level. 👍
We will return this fall for the third time and plan to come back in spring! Our favorite campground in Portugal…

We stayed 1 night. 1 car, 2 people, 1 tent
34€.
We had to stay in zone D, which was quite far from the wc as they closed the facilities next to zone D,E. This meant a huge line to the showers as there weren't enough shower rooms for a full campsite. The facilities were very clean, though.
Our tent was under eucalyptus trees, which was very nice. Next to this camp you can find beautiful beaches.

One of our favorite motorhome stops. Excellent facilities, clean pool, nice gardens, exceptionally nice staff, nice beach opposite site. Village is beautiful.

Great campsite with very good facilities. Good sized, level pitches with electricity. Toilet and shower block immaculately clean with plenty of hot water. They have a well stocked shop, excellent restaurant (separate review), large swimming pool, play area for kids. The local town is about a 10 minute walk away and has good restaurants and an excellent ice cream parlour!

Probably the best campsite I have been to. We stayed 2 nights with a tent in their free area. The best showers and sinks with a heat adjusters and no buttons you need to press to keep the water running. Big enough pool to swim with a seperate kids’ pool. Pitches are nice, all campsite is well maintained and is beautiful. Has a small shop with all you may need inside, if you want warm pastries for breakfast better come when they open cause you may not find any more left if you don’t. All the activities are on their website. The only thing I would like them to improve is to add the crossbar in the fitness area for the pull ups. Good location for a beach retreat, wonderful small town with lots of seperate beaches. Did I mention reasonable price? Yes, I think the price is very good for such a high quality campsite.

Best camping ground. Clean facilities, friendly staff, nice pitch, swimming pool, reasonable price, close to the beach. The only problem is the electrical fuse is too low and we couldn’t use the kettle. But we still stayed for 3 nights. It’s a beautiful location. Porto Covo is even better than in Lagos or Cavoeiro. Both are too touristy and is impossible to find parking; plus no campground is walking distance to the beach. I would come back again.

This campsite in Porto Cova is brilliant. Came on the off chance of a pitch and was welcomed. There is every facility you need and they are all
Very clean. Liked so much we stayed an extra 3 nights. The village is cute and has some nice restaurants too. There is an on-site one, but it was closed.

Well-maintained campsite with a variety of pitches, including some large grass ones - ideal for our van and puppy. Friendly staff, really clean bathrooms, small restaurant and shop plus pool. Under 10 minutes on foot to the coast, with easy paths to follow for kilometres north and south along the shoreline, with a beach bar/restaurant about 5-6km away in either direction. Pretty, low-rise Porto Covo village itself, with a handful of restaurants and shops, is an easy ten-minute stroll away as well.

Great Campsite, a little more expensive than some, but well worth it. Everything so clean and fresh, and new looking.
Very well maintained, with spacious pitches. Fantastic swimming pool. Friendly staff.
Good location, which was quiet as Campsite is on the edge of the small town. Beautiful beaches and handful of restaurants, And a couple of small supermarkets for essentials nearby, all within walking distance.
Would definitely recommend, and hope to stay here again another year.

What can I say overall great place.
Portuguese people friendly as always
Shadowy spots to camp
Great pool
Sanitary was clean and modern
Place also smells nice due to all the eucalyptus trees
Can’t say anything about the restaurant as we went into the city.

We stayed a nights here and we had problems with our van and called a couple of workshops, but no one spoke English, the receptionist came to our rescue. They were so nice and friendly they called a couple different car places and helped to organise a work shop that we could go to, to get our car fixed, where someone could help us in English. While we waited for the flat bed truck, we ate a pizza early at the restaurant, which had an awesome outside area. The pizza there was amazing and the staff and waiter were super friendly, also serving us in English. They catered to our every need and it was awesome experience at this campsite. We even ended up staying an extra night and the camp facilities were very clean.

High-end camping close to the beach. Service was great even though the reception was understaffed so we had to wait some time for check-in. Good amenities, could use some more showers for the women to avoid queues. There was plenty of space for tents even though we were there in high season so no need to book in advance.

Really good quality campign with super houses and spots for tents and motorhomes too. The area of the camping is super beautiful, with a beach, several BBQ spots, space for sports and children. The beaxh is also not too far, and there are good surfing spots in around like 10 minutes drive. Also worth considering going for a run on the coast, as it is beautiful too. Only thing to watch out for is making noise after midnight, people usually do not really like that in the camping. There is a very well-equipped grocery shop 15 minutes away from the camping site.

Very clean with great amenities- cafe, nice showers, washing machines, and a pool. Staying in a camper van, we stopped here for just a couple hours to to clean up and do van maintenance. €3 per person to use showers and €5 for van maintenance- electric recharge, water dump and refill, toilet emptying.

2-5 July 2019. This was our first site to stay at in Portugal and it was by far the best one. Fantastic large gravel pitches for motor homes with electric and water. The toilet and shower block were sheer luxury compared to all the others we’ve come across. Porto Covo is such a pretty place, great coastline and restaurants close by.

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY! I cannot recommend this resort enough, it hardly seems like a camp site. We arrived on the day without booking and they were able to accomodate our little tent. The reception service was so warm and friendly, my Portuguese isn't very good and they spoke English well.

There is a restaurant on site as well as a small shop where you can buy some essentials and you can even order fresh bread to collect the next morning!

The pool is delightful, even better than many hotels I have stayed at as the water is the perfect temperature so we could even enjoy swimming on the cloudy days. They have lounges and tables by the poolside to relax.

The amenities are IMMACULATE. I can't tell you how impressed I am. There are many, sinks, toilets and showers available (even though some were limited for covid19 restrictions) and everything was super clean. The toilet block was even warm and comfortable to visit at night, something which can be quite uncomfortable at most campsites.

There are BBQs available, I saw a microwave also as well as sinks with proper clean benches to comfortably wash your dishes. I camp often and this was a luxury for sure!

If you are in the area I highly recommend staying here, we ended up extending our visit as it was so enjoyable and will be back for sure.

Thank you Yelloh! Camping Costa do Vizir.

One of the best, if not THE best campsite stayed in so far. Modern, clean facilities. Beautiful pool. Pitches or apartment rentals. Restaurant is a delight. Staff were helpful, friendly and smiley. Walks along the Vicentina coast Fisherman's Trail, small and large coves and beaches, stunning scenery. Recommended.
