Flor de Lotus

Still totally thrilled 🤩 from the last visit, I went to the “Flor de Lotus” in Ponta Delgada again for lunch today.

Today I ate egg omelette with french fries and fresh salad.
As with the first time, excellent quality, "made with love" by the two friendly ladies.
All attributes: extremely friendly service, everything super clean and great quality of the food.

Also very important:
Wherever you can replace plastic, it is replaced here by “clever alternatives”. (For example: cutlery made of wood, plates made of cardboard, straws made of paper ...) Keep it up! 💪👍

One week ago...
Today at noon I enjoyed the best vegetarian hamburger Ilha das Flores has to offer in our Ponta Delgada in the new “FLOR DE LÓTUS” food truck. It was very clean there and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. I wish you all the best. Always my pleasure!

Stopped at the this food truck for lunch. We ordered two vegetarian burgers (€7.5 each) and two soda drinks (€1.2 each). The burger included a surprising mix of vegetables (corn, carrots, olives and tomatoes), but it tasted really good! We were very happy with the choice. Additionally, the lady that served us was very kind!

The menu has two vegetarian options. A vegetarian hot-dog and a vegetarian burger. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they are actually vegan.

Excellent price/quality! We had coffee and also ate twice at the bar and really liked the relaxed vibe. A nice mix of locals and tourists. The owner is a lovely lady who could answer all our questions about the place.

We never expected to have a vegan burger in such a remote place, yet here they are! The lovely owners even showed us the packaging of their products to make sure it was okay. The burgers and the fries were very good, and much appreciated after a long hike from Fajá Grande. They even make vegan hotdogs, which we may try next time we're here!

Nice place, good prices, one of the most friendly staff. For quick lunch on that part of the island i recommend this place!

Very very nice burger! Not a food that you would expect in a secluded island but we read the reviews and wanted to try.

Being in a great location I was greatly surprised when I realised that what we were eating would only be served in a big city with huge competition! I never expected such high quality and taste in such a big island. Yet the burger was homemade the materials fresh and the taste... I can still taste it! AMAZING! DO NOT MISS IT!

At the end i would like to apologise to the lady preparing our meals cause we ordered a lot.. we Greeks eat and order a lot... and I mean a loooot....

Great service with really tasty cheeseburger. The staff is extremely friendly. It can be pretty though to manage the supply chain on a remote island but they doing it perfectly

Small food truck at the very north of Flores Island. Hamburgers and fries and drinks and ice creams. I think it belongs (or are the owners) of the camping outside.

Magnífico y barato! Fuimos a comer y pedimos la hamburguesa de pollo, la bifana y unos sticks de queso. Estaba todo buenísimo aunque la bifana era espectacular.

Entre los dos nos gastamos 15 euros repitiendo alguna bebida.

Puedes aparcar al lado del puerto o al lado mismo de la cabañita que tienen. Hay lavabos y también un espacio de barbacoas al lado por si quieres llevarte la comida abajo.

La atención fue muy buena ya que tanto ella como su hijo se esforzaron en que nos sintieramos acogidos y agusto.

Volveremos sin falta si volvemos a pasar por la isla. Muchas gracias por todo!

Melhor Kebab de sempre! Foi a Flor de Lótus que nos salvou os dias na nossa estadia em Ponta Delgada. Abraço de São Miguel.

Wir waren drei Tage lang auf dem Campingplatz und haben jeden Tag dort gegessen. Das Kebab, die Burger und die Bifana waren gigantisch. Neben dem Essen (und einem großen Angebot an Getränken) genießt man einen wunderschönen Ausblick und die netten Gastgeber. Die Besitzerin und ihr junger Mitarbeiter sind einfach mega bemüht und herzlich. Vegetarier bekommen einen fleischlosen Burger, für Veganer gibt es einen Salat.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés hier à ce snack de camping par hasard après une petite rando. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Le cadre est très jolie, la nourriture simple mais bonne et la propriétaire a le souci de bien faire. Je recommande !

Excelente comida e atendimento, chegamos perto da hora de fecho e mesmo assim fomos atendidos com um sorriso, serviço muito rápido, e sem nos apressar para sairmos. Um grande obrigado pela simpatia da Sra.Paula e do Renato!

Para quem pensou que não ia almoçar foi uma boa surpresa teŕ acabado a comer um hambúrguer vegetariano. Penso que deveriam pôr informação de que se pode comer uma refeição ligeira por estes lados de ponta delgada das flores.
