Praia da Fajã

Awesome beach of black sand and a wild ocean with lots of waves. The scenery is really beautifull.

It feels great to sit on this beach and watch and listen to the waves break into the black rocks and black sand, very picturesque

Fantastic black sand beach!! Jus be aware of the man o war that sometimes blow in in the summer.

One of my favourite hikes on Faial. You get it all, fields, forest, seas. A lot of great vistas for your Instagram. You have a good incline to return to your starting point for some cardio points. When you close by, you can Google the cemetery, we found this a good place to park and start the hike.

The waves are to huge to swim, but the beach is very beautiful

Ein super schöner Vulkansandstrand. Kostenlose Toiletten und Duschmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Das Wetter und der Wellengang ermöglichten einen Sprung in den kühlen Atlantik. Bademeister ist nicht vorhanden. Man sollte immer nach Portugiesische Galeere Ausschau halten.

Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Un lieu grandiose de cette plage de sable sombre entre mer et falaise luxuriante.
Ont y trouve un petite piscine naturelle où les enfants peuvent s'y baigner en sécurité.
Les vagues peuvent être assez forte et forme un rouleau plutôt destabilisant et ont a vite plus pied donc soyez prudent.
Autrement tout est parfait ,l'eau, la vue ........,

Uma praia de cores verde esmeralda, com areia preta vulcânica e um perfume a mar por ter sargaço que é recolhido e levado para fazer oleos e adubar as terras, a agua é muito boa e quentinha.

Spiaggia di sabbia nera davvero bella! C'è anche una piccola piscina naturale adatta per i bambini!

Spiaggia vulcanica con facile accesso al mare. Parcheggio adiacente, wc e docce gratuite.

Schöner, nicht überlaufender Strand mit separater Badestelle zwischen den Steinen. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, links das Meer, rechts Berge. Wirklich schön. Wenn die Wellen nicht zu stark sind, kann man auch gut ins Wasser gehen. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, Duschen auch. Badeschuhe sind am Strand nicht nötig, an der Badestelle zwischen den Steinen, würde ich sie lieber tragen.
