I chose this restaurant based on reviews, and I was not mistaken in my choice. Cozy restaurant with very tasty and fresh food, friendly staff! Large portions, if I’m in Nazaré again, I will definitely return to this restaurant. I recommend! 🫶🏼🤩🫶🏼

Really enjoyed our lunch here and we’ll be back! The grilled choricau starter is delicious, and we really enjoyed the salmon and sardines. The sides are roasted potatoes (nice change over boiled), and the accompanying salad is dressed nicely vs just plain like most. There’s also a cabbage side dish that’s a nice change.
Service can be a little slow, but it’s a busy spot so understandable.

Overall, really enjoyed the small corridor setting… always a fun experience when cars (and vans) drive by just inches away from you 🙃

Great little place tucked away in the side streets. We took the manager's recommendation of the sirloin and it was delicious, the knife went through like butter it was so tender. Loved the mix of frijoles with the rice, just what I fancied! House red wine was also lovely, and friendly staff. Would definitely repeat. The only thing was the door was open and it was cold and raining, so we were a bit chilly to start, other than that everything was great.

I went on a trip to Nazare to celebrate the reunion with one of my best friends after 15 years and came across this place before heading out for drinks at the local bars. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! We ordered fish soup, a portion of mixed olives, some local cheese, bread and a couple of beers as we didn’t want anything heavy before going for drinks. However, other tables were ordering fish, vegetables, desserts and wine and it all looked amazing!. Their selection of wines looked excellent so if you’re into wine you’ll enjoy it then.

The service, the person who looked after us - I presume he was the manager or owner- made us feel like at home, like if we knew each other for a long time making our dinner a very pleasant experience. we valued that a lot.

The price, it’s definitely affordable and portions are great so I’d say good value for money.

Pay them a visit if you’re hanging around the beautiful Nazare, you’ll hopefully walk out happy

Fantastic meal was shared by 6 people, including one that did not care for seafood. The seafood platter was superb, and the steak grilled on stone for the non fish eating member of the party was similarly outstanding. All this was capped off by very good value wines, attentive service, and a great atmosphere.Highley recommended.

It was my first taste of Portuguese food and it was delicious. You must try the grilled squid and the cod. The portions are huge, you could easily share an entree. For dessert try the cornucopia, yum!

Great food, ambience and service. Excellent wine list. Seafood is superb. And the beef platter is out of this world.

The food is very delicious, no matter the sea food rice and steak on the stone. The service is warm and the desserts are perfect.

On June 2, 2023 my husband and I had lunch at this restaurant...what a hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious. We both had the salmon which just melted in your mouth best salmon we have ever tasted. The staff were extremely polite and efficient. We are Canadian but I was born in Terceira. One of the islands in the Acores and the owner and his daughter were so welcoming and went out if their way to ensure we had the best experience. We met another American couple at the next table who also raved about how delicious their meals were. And the portions are big you will not leave their hungry. Such a wonderful restaurant...if you have the opportunity stop in for a truly Portuguese experience!
