I've been to this restaurant many times in the past before with my parents and it never fails to disappoint.
After coming back to Madeira after 6 years this is the first restaurant that I wanted to go to.
The food is stunning, the staff are lovely and the overall service is absolutely spot on! Will definitely be returning before our flight back to England!
The best Pizza in Madeira!

I had the scabbard fish Madeiran style...absolutely amazing! I also thought it was very reasonably priced for the quality, compared to what I have paid in other places locally. Staff were also very friendly and attentive

The staff and food were great, some really delicious food served whilst the servers looked after us for the evening.

As a party we had catches of the day and local delicacies which were all superbly cooked and very tasty.

Lovely staff and food. We are not big eaters and one main course would have fed both of us. They are too generous with their portions. I recommend the Madieran red wine on the wine list @€22.

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel who called ahead and reserved a table as it was quite late in the evening. We enjoyed Madeiran garlic bread, steak skewers and a chicken salad. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices for the excellent food. We will be back.

Super pretty place and excellent friendly service. We just went to have some drinks as we found the entrance stunning and decided to stop here. Great music and ambient.

The quality of the food hasn't gone down since we were last here before Covid. Not the cheapest but excellent food and nice atmosphere. Had the meal of the day, all in - starter, main and dessert - and there are choices, for €22. Can't go wrong...
And don't forget their takeaway pizzeria!

Excellent, delicious fish and friendly attentive staff. We had passed half a dozen restaurants and none had piqued our interest, but this we could see through the windows was popular but not too crowded. It could be easily described as Rustic or Quaint based on its very traditional style, but we found this very charming. I'm not a fan of fish, while my wife loves it. However we were both tempted by the various catches of the day shown to us. I went for parrot fish and my wife had Dover sole. Excellent can be the only way to describe the quality of the food and it's freshness! We will be back!

We were looking for Italian food in Madeira. Saw the pizzaria neon sign as we were walking. Super tidy, cozy place with checkerboard tablecloths.
Menu has a number of Italian staples with a portuguese twist.

We ordered a pizza combo with egg in it, bruschetta and lasagna.
The pizza was good and the crust well cooked and thin as it should be. The sausage was not as an American might like but more German style.
The bruschetta was different from most.
It was layered in cheese and had been put in the oven. Very good.
The lasagne was served in a shallow bowl, was thinner than typical and had a lot of good cheese on it
The portions were generous,
Service was great! Highly recommended

Amazing place, more traditional than the modern restaurants I don't like. Great staff and amazing food. However quality comes at a price and it is more expensive than others in the area. That said you go to another country to sample the local food and this is the place for that. Have a meal here you will not be disappointed I guarantee. Thanks great meal and worth paying the extra.

The smell of Madeira!

Here you can try traditional food to very fair prices. We had the Scabbard Fish with Tropical Fruits and the Beef Skewer. Both were excellent and the service was very friendly. We will come back!

We visited the Pizzeria located at the back of the restaurant as after a week of fish we fancied something more filling. Excellent sea food, vegetarian and traditional pizza. Cosy atmosphere and good service. Compared with other places we are at - which were all nice -
this was some of the best value for money. My favourite the Pizza Margarita.

Second visit. Both equally good. Friendly service English speaking staff. The grilled steak was as good as the best fillet steak back home and reasonably priced, I tried the Prawns in garlic butter which were huge and delicious
