Great sightseeing place, 250m above sea level. On clear days it is possible to see until Bussaco, 60km inland. Its said that a flag (bandeira) was put on display when piracy was suspected or confirmed, allowing both the North and south sides of the Boa Viagem mountain to communicate these kind of events.

If you're ever in Figueira da Foz or near-by, this viewpoint is a must see!! Incredible landscape and it's also where the main biking trails start... definitely recommended 👌

Nice little viewpoint to look north. Lots of nature around. Good for a relaxing day not on the beach.

Beautiful and good circular hike of 12km. Water fall didnt have any water though. But forest around the platform is stunning

Exelent view over the north side of figueira da Foz and boa viagem Mountain. On clear days you can see many kilometers inland, to the northern coast and the sea. Unforgettable place.

If you like nature it is something for you. I got there from Figueira da Foz on foot to Quiaios. It was hot as hell but Eucalyptus forest on top of that hill and spectacular view on Quiaios rewarded all the pain. Running down the slope of that hill was real fun too.

Beautiful place with view to the ocean. Reacheble by car, you can also take the patch that will lead you to the vilage Murtinheira.
