A Cantarinha

My husband and I went there for a week lunch and had the menu of the day, 10€, very cheap for the quality and quantity of food served (they usually post it on their Facebook page). It included olives or tuna pate (very tasty) with crackers, drink (we had the jar of house white wine, pretty good), main course, dessert and coffee. We opted for atum a madeirense (fresh tuna cooked with tomatoes, onions and potatoes), that was very flavorful and well cooked. The portion was huge, we would've been satisfied with half of it, but it was so good that we ate it all! For dessert, we had the homemade chocolate mousse, which was amazing and the portion was enormous, once again! Since we didn't want the coffee (included in the menu), the extremely nice waiter brought us a complimentary plate of delicious french toast with syrup! Delicious food and amazing service, would definitely recommend it to anyone and will certainly come back!

Excellent food we had Tamboril and Gambas in a cream sauce (Monk fish and prawns) seved with rice and salad recommended by who we thought was the owner, the chocolate mouse was so rich and gorgeous. Staff friendly and helpful. Given a complimentary glass of port and toast in syrup , as it was my husbands birthday.
Highly recommended.

Um local aprazível para se ter uma boa refeição. A comida é muito boa, o pessoal de serviço sempre atencioso e a atmosfera é boa. Local com três salas distintas.

Muy buen lugar para comer comida tipica portugues, llegamos bastante tarde, por lo que estuvimos practicamente solos, con la musica de fondo a buen volumen. La comida estaba muy buena y los platos fueron generosos. El camarero nos recomendó un vino que salio especialmente bueno y todo el servicio en general fue bueno. La única pega que tuvo fue que el baño estaba bastante sucio, pero el resto estaba todo limpio.
