Bem-Me-Quer

This bakery is actually one of our favorites in Porto. They have an amazing assortment of savory and sweet treats as well as great toast and ham and cheese sandwiches (tosta mista). Furthermore, their coffee is super good and with great flavor. In spite of being in a touristy area the prices are moderate and the service is great. Ana has a beautiful smile and is always ready to help you with you order as well as the rest of the staff which is friendly and efficient.

Went here on a Sunday morning when so many other places were closed. The cappuccino was great, all of the food is really fresh, the staff are friendly and speak English. The range of both savoury and sweet choices for a small bakery was perfect. They also, like virtually everywhere in Portugal also have the local Super Bock beer on tap. Fresh orange juice was also off the charts.

Nice place for breakfast. We tried egg tart and it taste so nice, crunchy and not that sweet. the coffee is a very good compliment to balance the sweet.

Good bakery for breakfast and all day snacks. Tasty. She warmed our snacks before we ate. Coffee was perfect.

Good service but 2.9€ for a coffee with milk, this not a specialized shop so excessively expensive.
I asked the front desk lady how much before sitting and she acted like working on the computer system, didn't say the total, just at the end and I got surprised.

Super friendly staff. Great coffee too. We split this delicious pinwheel of ham, chorizo, and cheese with an egg baked on top along with a couple of the natas. Delicious!

Came here because the market across the road was closed. So glad we did! The enroladinho com ovo was the best breakfast treat I've had in a long time. Here's a picture of it, half-eaten. :)

Very nice place perfect for desert

We went here in the morning for a cappuccino and pastry. Both were very good and exceeded our expectations. They had many options for muffins, pastries, and pasteis. It is right across from the Bolhao market but we went on a Sunday so the market was closed. There are a couple outdoor tables that were 1 € to sit at. Would definitely recommend

Best place to eat Pasteis de Nata and croissants. I had a wonderful time and the lady that was in charge was super nice! Definitely will be going back!

We had their house special sandwich which was big enough for 2 to share easily, a small beer and a 7up for less than €10. Delicious and cheap for a quick meal. They don’t speak English well but at the end of the day you’re in Portugal and this is a cafe for the locals ☺
