Aquilino Ribeiro Park

Great park close to the city center. The park has great resting areas a bug plyaground for kids, public bathrooms, a small lake, an ancient tree, two churches (one closed and one that you can visit) a place where you can buy a nice ice cream and a carousel. If you need to relax you should try this park! Highly recommended!

Cute city park full of life and shrubbery. Has a bar in the middle to relax in the sun and plenty of water features and shade areas for a good picnic setting.

Very fun, in summer they have concerts going on and a chill place to have a beer or ice cream near the pond.

What an amazing institution for such an interesting part of human history. A wonderfully interactive exhibition demonstrating the rock carving, significance, the tools and people who were doing it all. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and blends into the nature of the hillside banks of the Rio Douro.

Nice and Clean park. Viseu is a lovely city yet I was surprised by how less people where in the streets. Viseu used to be a busy little city. I believe shopping malls have killed the charm that Viseu had when I was a kid.

Small but neat park in the city center. Great place to walk your pets or come with your family for picnic. Children's playground, artificial lake with ducks and a bar with terrace complete the setup.

Lovely park accessible to all at the heart of the central district of Viseu. Café and seating set next to a small lake and extensive and very pretty planting. Well worth setting aside some time to relax in pleasant surroundings.

Just a beautiful place to relax or have a picnic. Watch the world go by

Nice clean park. On the day there was an excellent brass band playing covers. Play area would be good if you have children.
