Monumental Grill

This restaurant is a gem of a place. Lovely attentive staff, friendly and lovely atmosphere. We started with the tomato soup, vegetable soup and a lovely helping of garlic bread to go with it. I had the fish with seafood for one which came with potatoes and vegetables and my husband had spaghetti bolognese..The fish was divine and the spaghetti was delicious. Highly recommend this place and it's very good value to.

Our first night in Madeira was made special with a delicious meal in Monumental Grill. We ate from the tourist menu and enjoyed a 3 course meal for €13 each. I can recommend the soup, tuna and cake. I can't believe we had 3 courses, water, a bottle of red and a glass of Madeira and only spent £42 including a tip! Good service with lots of waiters and personal service. Highly recommended

Food was delicious. We had the seafood spaghetti. It was more than we could eat but it was fabulous. The staff were lovely and were very attentive and funny.

Really friendly staff, delicious food. The octopus was really nicely cooked and the seafood soup was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, Excellent service, I opted for the tourist menu, My husband chose from the main menu, we were given menus in English too. Good beer, we were not rushed and the bill was very reasonable

Very good food and nice service. We had seafood soup which was full of seafood (not that obvoius somethimes 😉) and grilled sardines (come with boiled potatoes, green beans). Everything was fresh and tasty, also on bery good prices: soup lewa than 5€ and sardines mess than 10€. Overall experience was very good!

Nice and friendly staff, delicious meals. Place is good, just the bus stop next to the restaurant is a bit disturbing when you eat outside.

Lovely family run restaurant with great food and massive portions!

OUTSTANDING. A true hidden gem with a beautiful view of the Ocean and surrounding area. The food was fantastic (would highly recommend the pork chops - purely because of the sauce), the price was very very reasonable and the service was fantastic. The outside area was slightly cramped, but a small price to pay for the meal. 10/10 will be back.

My wife had the avocado prawns for starter and filleted sole for main. I had the garlic prawns and sea bass on the bone for main, both were amazing. Water and a Fanta, all for €66.
