Magic Tea House

We stopped here for coffee, which was excellent, and decided to visit the gardens behind the tea House.
The gardens are well maintained, imaginatively laid out with lovely vistas throughout.

Excellent little cafe/ located on the cliff top promenade to Funchal. It was near my hotel, and quite close for me, but a good walk from central Funchal. Beer was good and well priced, and although I had no food myself but it looked really nice and good value. The staff on both visits were really good and friendly.

Nicely hidden gem good prices great sunny spot nice and quiet with no road noise a perfect to stop on a coastal walk.

Very pleasant atmosphere on the terrace, great prices, and good service! Breakfast was very tasty.

Stopped here a couple of times and had some refeshing drinks, whilst walking along the lido.

Lovely place with beautiful ocean view . Great service and I must say , as coffee drinker, ice coffee here was just perfect 👍🏻 and definitely not overpriced

The name may be a bit confusing because the dishes and drinks other than tea are delicious here. Just like the friendly and professional service. A great stopping point while walking along the promenade. This is one of the places you definitely want to come back to if you will come here again.

Their afternoon tea is classic with various types of teas served in a traditional teapot. It includes ham and cheese sandwiches, a scone and various pastries. The salad was quite fresh. Ocean view from the sidewalk cafe makes it a perfect outing.

The terrace is located in a quiet place with a beautiful view and it's nice to sit outside. Fresh orange juice is delicious. It has a creamy texture and a smooth taste.

Beautiful cliff top location. Good selection of sandwiches - we had an "Italian" (mozzarella and salad) with chips and a beer; perfect combination after a walk from central Funchal.
We never visit Madeira without a visit here and the waitress (Marcia) must be the best in Funchal.
