Small but fully loaded mini Market. Staff is friendly and helpful. We shopped here for groceries during our stay in Calheta and found almost everything we needed.

I had a wonderful lunch here today and picked up a few things - the food at the cafe is delicious and amazingly well priced!!! Super friendly staff. Grateful we found it!

Best, of the few, places to buy groceries if you're self-catering in the area.
Steak and chicken from the fresh meat counter is lovely and very well priced compared to UK.
Can pick up some UK goods - Heinz beans, Bisto gravy - if need/missing it.

Being on holidays in Loreto I love the Amanhecer concept set up as a private label with a strong consumer focus, identity, mission. And values and in that way being a true alternative to the larger supermarket chains like Pingo Doce. After having been to the Loreto Amanhecer on a daily base I love the community focus, you see similar and daily returning customers. Not speaking enough Portuguese I could not identify where the green produce is coming from, but I guess they should come from a tight radius around the store giving even more transparency to localism and identity! Highly recommended concept/store!!!

Nice place to eat lunch in their take away restaurant, great variety of products, bread, frozen items, butcher and nice people taking care of whatever you need

Just loved this restaurant styled mini market. I purchased BBQ skewered beef with French fries with sauteed broccoli, cauliflour, and carrots for only 6 euros. Very generous portions and tasty

What a nice and friendly little supermarket. You get all you need, fresh and delicious bred and rolls, cake/sweets and after shopping you can have a coffee or espresso outside at a table. Warm meals available too, parking lots in front of the store or at the side of the street.

Friendly and helpful staff, we really like the man at the bakery, always friendly with a smile for his clients 😊

We warmly recommend this market to everybody who stays at Loreto, Calheta, Arco de Calheta.

Small but well-stocked supermarket. Part of the market is also a small café with a small selection of food. Tasty and inexpensive. And everyone is extremely accommodating and friendly.

Good food for lunch or dinner

Everything you need they have. Freshly baked bread in the morning. A little coffee bar which also sells cakes and sweets. Free parking. Excellent!
