One of the best meal we had during our trip to Algarve. A must try is definitley the octupus cataplana! Very nice to see the sunset while dinner. The waiter was very nice and friendly. Make sure the reserve a table.

It’s a place with a beautiful view. The service was professional and food was very good. It’s recommended to book if you want to have a table on the terrace.

Amazing quality of seafood!!! The Massa com peixe was delicious, as the Lulas, perceves and camarão. Again, we had the feeling that Portuguese people is discriminated. There was no intention of letting us have a table. We stayed in the coffee esplanada, which had also good an amazing view and was less formal. When we left( 8pm) there were still many tables in the main esplanada. However, the view was amazing, the food was delicious and the younger staff very very kind!!!

A typical Portuguese place at the seaside! The fish is so fresh and delicious! The kids said they had their best fish sticks ever!
We had the rice and seafood and almost licked our plates!
We were sad it was closed on Monday or we would have gone 2 days in a row 🤗

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant perched along majestic cliffs. Out of the way but worth the trip. Best seafood cataplana we have had in Portugal! Family run, our waiter Tomos provided excellent service and engaging conversation- we will be back! Thank you Tomos!

The food here is really good, the waitresses are really nice, overall I think this place is great. What is the most amazing about it is the breathtaking view to the beach, cliffs and in the right time the sunset. That's what really makes this place stand out and what I think makes it this popular, that in top hours (it being 18-21) you need to place a reservation to be able to get a table.

Amazing place right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. The food was amazing and also the service. If you are touring around Lagos and want to stop here for lunch, you won’t regret it. The Mix Seafood Cataplana is a great local dish to try.

A perfect place to grab some food whilst waiting for the sunset.

We came with a big group of friends and had a good experience. I ordered the Pepper Steak (see the picture) and liked it very much. Price was very good for the big piece of meat.
My friends ordered different things as main dishes and some of them were a bit sad, since they didn't get a sauce like me (for example the grilled steak). But my food was great, so I can give the 5 Stars.
Also positiv: the desserts were very nice!

Outstanding experience. It cannot get more Portuguese than this in terms of lunch/dinner. If you’re looking for traditional Portuguese food this is the way.

After we spend the day at Praia do Amado we decided to have dinner here. Even though we didn’t have a reservation we still got a table and the service was excellent.
It’s a great spot to watch the sunset und enjoy some good, typical Portuguese food.
Unfortunately there was rain coming in so we were not able to sit at the outside terrace, but we still had a nice view staying on there patio. The portions were huge and we could have shared the grilled squid 🦑.
Our son had the spaghetti carbonara which he like a lot.

Food was very good! Takes a while to get there, as it is quite remote but just for the view it is worth it.

We got a mixed cataplana which took a while, but we got informed of that while ordering so we were prepared for that.

Overall very nice experience. Only bad point was that there were a few flies outside

This place is just amazing.
The view is stunning, the food is delicious and the portions are big.

There’s vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. I had the chickpea spinach curry which was so good (huge portion as well)!
We also had the sea bass chef style - absolutely delicious. Awesome view.

Very good meal. Nice ocean view. The people were very friendly and very upbeat. Nice atmosphere and great place to spend a few hours. And we got special treats for Valentine Day.
We will be back.

Did someone say FRESH FISH?? With a side of BIG SUR ENERGY?! Cataplana baby!! All of the sea, beside the sea, felt locals only although obviously I was there, diluting that, anyway you won’t regret it so dang STUNNING.

We had seafood in rice and it was delicious!

Wonderful way to close a day of hiking and wandering around Carrapateira. Great staff. Really good food. Overlooks cliffside.
